“Stayed here with my son, who was in Lynchburg for a swim meet. The unit was very clean, and the owners had it stocked with everything we needed! It was much larger than a hotel room, and having the kitchen area allowed us to make some quick meals at our home away from home. I would stay here again sometime!”

“This is by far the cleanest, most relaxing hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Not a speck of dust anywhere, kind and supportive staff, wonderful soaps and amenities and a dang good breakfast to boot. Jeanie and the team do an amazing job making this a home away from home. Extra points for a secure location as well. All side entrances require key card for entry so I feel a lot safer traveling alone”

“I've rented from Bennies for about 20yrs. I've rented trailers, a duplex and now a house. I've read some of the negative reviews probably coming from the ones that don't pay rent on time. If there's a issues they usually take care of it that day. If the can't fix it they will replace it or call outside resources to fix the problem..”

“Perfect location to stay to visit Liberty. We are a large family and stayed in the handicap accessible room which was plenty big. Pillows and blankets for second bed were not in room when we arrived. Three night stay and towels were not automatically exchanged. But everything was very clean. Free breakfast was just cereal, waffles, oat meal, but was enough.”

“It’s fine. Definitely not the boutique hotel they tried to make it…more like “clean economy”. Stay here with low expectations.Pros:-The location of this hotel is great- very close to Liberty University and lots of shopping. -The entry/lobby is well decorated and inviting. Definitely a boutique look.-Staff are friendly and helpful.-Breakfast was pretty good in comparison to other hotels serving free breakfast. The fresh fruit selection was impressive. Everything was kept filled and hot.- Rooms were overall clean.-Weirdly, the elevators were shockingly fast and quiet.-The price was very affordable.Cons: The room!Let’s just say when you enter the room you will wonder if you are even in the same hotel as the lobby you just left. It gives off that “first apartment on your own” vibe. The first thing I noticed was the industrial fluorescent light fixture set in the ceiling. It gave off the ambience of a classroom or a science lab of some sort. The floor was all tile, and while that is easier to keep clean, there is no noise barrier from the room to the hall or vice-versa. The gap under the door to the hallway is quite large, also. The furniture: It looked like a combo of odds and ends from a pallet sale mixed with furniture salvaged from the previous hotel. Styles and finishes were random and didn’t match at all.The bed: The mattress was hard, and the headboard was velvet (totally unsanitary). There was the most ridiculous metal skirting around the beds that sat flush with the box spring. Every time you got in or out of bed, it sounded like a gong went off, because you inevitably kicked it or even tapped it each time you got in or out of bed. That’s really fun if you need to get up to go to bathroom while everyone is sleeping. The decor: The walls are stark and empty. There is not one piece of artwork to be found. There is no full length, or even just a wall mirror in the room anywhere (besides the bathroom). The light fixtures were as random as the furniture. Between the fluorescent ceiling light, the Target dorm room modern styled desk lamp and a clear, acrylic boutique-look lamp, nothing matched at all. The different clashing hues of blue used in different places in the room will most likely bother anyone who is not color blind. The TV- was probably from the early 2000s. Desperately needs updated. It did work, though, so that’s a positive. The bathroom: It was very small. The mirror is also small- like single person small. and it hangs over the sink basically in front of the toilet (which sits so close to the sink, you can almost wash your hands while sitting on the toilet). There is no way more than one person can get ready/do hair/put on makeup unless you brought a separate mirror with you. They need to add another mirror above the desk for functionality when more than one person is staying in the room.”

“2 tv’s not working. Room smelled, rugs stained and filthy, lamp lights went out and never came back on-only bathroom lights. Fridge smelled of burning motor and not working. Curtains old and full of holes. Only good thing was beds for sleeping. Got in late and left early. Disgusting for a Wyndham named “motel” certainly not hotel. Disappointed.”

“We stayed at the Lynchburg Grand hotel when we were bringing our son to Liberty University for the first time. Our stay was perfect and we enjoyed every minute of it. The hotel was lovely and the service was very good. Our room was nice and we were pleasantly surprised by all of the little updates and conveniences. Thank you for a wonderful stay! We will definitely come back.”

“I was looking for a good venue to throw a masquerade birthday party around Lynchburg, and last second I was able to book something with their event center there called "Ridgeview Event Center". Both Rachel, the lady at the front desk, and Colby, the director of marketing and events, were incredibly kind and catered to me as the customer as much as they could, going above and beyond to give us a tour of the venue and answering all of our random questions. They even let my mom and I melt candles to make wax seals for the party invitations in the hotel lobby even though we weren't staying at the hotel. The atmosphere of the lobby was great and felt very homey. I would definitely recommend this place for events that are lower scale in terms of numbers but still formal and classy. I would also recommend the hotel rooms for those visiting Lynchburg and Liberty University! 10/10.”
