Putney Food Co-op is a very sweet little coop and truly a gem. It is a small, typical little grocery store with lots of history and everything you could need, nicely organized. It has a plentiful produce section and a fantastic hot and cold food court. This includes a hot bar of prepared food, homemade soups, sandwiches to order, and a wide variety of delicious dishes like southern fried tofu. The staff are friendly and very kind. It is a great place to find that something you might have forgotten and is definitely worth checking out in the Putney area.
