The rooms are so immaculate and comfy. They have thought of everything to make your stay perfect. The daily cookies are such a nice touch. Tea, coffee, water, at your disposal. Beer, wine and cider are also available. Breakfast included many choices, and there’s other food items for later in the day, as well. We enjoyed the hot tub and playing corn hole. Also, spent a long time on the brain games. The dining area is a cool hangout space. I really didn’t feel the need to leave. But Ken provided incredible suggestions for our hike- Pico Mt Moderate trail with great views. We hiked up to the top of the Thunder Falls which was fun to do. Dinner was exceptional at The Garlic. We enjoyed a lunch at a market near Pico mountain. There’s a lovely gift store on the other side of the road. Killington has an adventure park which wasn’t open on the days we were there, but we sat and had a drink by the lake and surprisingly saw a momma bear and her two cubs. Laura is new to the inn. She’s so nice to chat with. She has great energy. I’d go back just to see her. If you want a quiet place to stay that is serene, you will enjoy it here.”
“Had a wonderful stay at the Red Clover Inn. I've been coming up to Killington for ski trips for the past 15 years and I've stayed just about everywhere. Venetia and Mark and the entire staff were wonderful to communicate with and the attention to detail is unmatched. I would highly recommend and I'll be coming back. Thanks again!”

2057 US-4, Killington“Killington Getaway Perfection: A Greenbrier Inn Love LetterLet me tell you, finding the Greenbrier Inn wasn't just a stroke of luck – it was a game-changer for our Killington ski trip. From the moment we stumbled upon its glowing online reviews, we knew we'd hit gold. And boy, were we right. This charming haven tucked away near the resort is about as close to ski-in/ski-out bliss as you can get. Plus, with an abundance of restaurants just a hop, skip, and jump away, post-shredding refuelling is as easy as pie.But the Greenbrier's magic goes far beyond its prime location. It's the people who truly make it shine. Steve, the heart and soul of the Inn, is simply phenomenal. He didn't just meet our needs – he anticipated them. A warm welcome call before our arrival? Check. Rooms magically ready before our official check-in time? You bet. Steve's genuine hospitality made us feel like the only guests there (even though we weren't!), and his infectious enthusiasm fueled our ski-trip spirit like a double espresso.Honestly, words can't fully capture the essence of the Greenbrier Inn. It's a place where comfort meets convenience, warmth meets efficiency, and genuine care trumps all. It's the kind of spot that makes you sigh with contentment as you sink into your cozy bed after a day on the slopes.Rooms: Rooms were very clean and well put-togetherSafety: Incredibly safe areaNoteworthy details: Amazing host! Discounted lift tickets can be purchased through the Inn.”
“We did the cow tour with Asia. She was a great tour guide. They provided boots if you don't have proper shoes. We got to learn so much, feed the adult cows, feed the baby calves and got to milk the cows. We also got a free cabot bag. This was a great experience”
“Loved loved LOVED staying here. Me and my fiance were reminiscing about our trip to Vermont. The location was right next to the trail and had a beautiful view of a lake. Rooms were clean and we had the best sleep in our bed. At night you can have smores and yankee pot roast, at no charge. And there was the cutest Australian shepard dog named Daisy that would accompany you on the trail (I hope she’s still around). We had an amazing time! We were just talking about going back!”

“We had a great experience with the Summit Lodge where we held a night before party and Sunday brunch for my daughter’s wedding weekend. Angela and Dana are great. The food was really good and our guests really enjoyed both parties. The weather was bad for our night before party, but the inside location worked out well! I highly recommend the Summit for an event. You will not be disappointed.”
“Personnel sympathique et efficace, piscine et bains à remous chauffés extérieurs formidables. Les chambres sont un peu vieillottes malgré des salles de bain rénovées. Lits confortables. Salle de jeu, salle de sport. Presque ski in/ski out, un gros avantage. Malheureusement le rapport qualité-prix s'est dégradé avec une forte augmentation de prix pour 2024.”
“Sweet little hotel in Killington. Went during the off-season (July) and it was very nice. The quiet atmosphere was occasionally punctured by loud upstairs neighbors but the large rooms made up for it.
The room was very spacious but the carpet was a little tired and dated.
Bathroom was clean and the room had a very nice bathtub.
The kitchen was useful and the fridge was a lifesaver.
The AC was two wall mounted units that ran at the same noise as a jet engine. However they did manage to cool the room quickly and we were able to sleep through the night without having to turn them back on.”
“My wife and I came up for the Presidents’ Day weekend. The entire experience was outstanding. The owner was welcoming and friendly and so was all the staff we met. The rooms were great as well, all new and clean beds were very comfortable. We especially loved how at home they made you feel. We plan on returning in the summer as well. This is an outstanding place to stay in the Killington area close to everything but just far enough away to be relaxing.”
“Cleanliness, hot-water, accommodating, and close proximity to both mountains at a fair price. Best place to stay in the greater Rutland area. Going to be my go-to spot for every time I’m in the area.”
“Old school hotel with everything you need, right next to the mountain. EV charging across the street! The owner and staff are so helpful and kind. Thank you for hosting our huge group and making our weekend dreamy!”
“Like how friendly they are. Very informative with everything you ask. Tavern on site with pool tables, darts, connect 4, fireplace, etc. Large yard so you're not crowded in the bat they do have food but already ate. Very close to rutland. Really enjoyed our stay and very quiet and exceptionally clean(BIG PLUS).”
