No more Jiffy Lube. I'm bringing my car straight to you guys.(it went back 2 weeks later, then towed back a month later after AAA TOWED TO MY HOUSE & IT SAT FOR A MONTH.)
it's nice to know that there's still some decent people that you can count on for your peace of mind for your vehicle.... (I don't know, but, I think Mike is a decent guy but Hee was not who worked on my car solely.)

----Im posting this addition a year later: my car went back 2 M1 at least three times within 3 months of me posting my original review. They didn't even fix one of the things that they were supposed to--(that U joint.)
They replaced the battery. that was basically new.
They charged my mother 8,000 total. I had to do various things myself and now I can finally try & sell that car. I retract what I put before. At least partly. My Aunt helped me fix it. I don't suggest going here. I think the owner Mike is a decent guy that I think he needs to pay attention to whoever he had working for him. They/He/Someone, cut Corners or they lied, or were oblivious. They Replaced what wasn't needed, overcharged, admitted he put in old valve stems. They caused me more BS than I'd like to admit. I am Sure my Mom told them go thru & make it safe, etc. But, in that respect, they DID, yet DID NOT.
I WILL SAY, MY CAR WAS A 2005. THERE IS A LOT OF VARIABLES. AND WORKING ON OLDER VEHICLES. MY SITUATION WASN'T NORMAL.
THAT being said, $h*t happens. Any autoshop is not perfect. I know Mike tried to do us right. But I feel we should not have went there. ESPECIALLY AS MUCH LABOR $ MORE THAN ONE DIAGNOSTICS ETC.
Yes, it's a year later, but you see--I'm a single mom. I went through hell and I was trying to respect my mother. She was paying for it, & INSISTED IT WENT HERE - A FRIEND OF A FRIEND.... but she doesn't know about cars like that. My advice--Be very Careful. read the paperwork.
Know what the hell you're paying for, what they did, & Why. What they are going to do.
I'd ask who the hell is actually working on your car. And that's good advice for anybody going to any auto shop. Cars are fickle, especially old cars. I SUGGEST TALKING WITH THE OWNER MIKE. I BELIEVE HE IS A DECENT HONEST GUY..... BUT HE IS NOT THE ONLY MECHANIC & WE ALL TRUST PEOPLE WE SHOULDN'T AT SOME POINT.”
“Had to replace front and rear rotors, brake pads, oil pan drip, etc and got to take my car home the same day. Had to slam on our brakes that night and pleased that we didn't have to worry about braking issues. We will be coming back for any repair needs.
Also, I love that they give you a clear electronic estimate before starting the repair. You can see what issues they find and accept or decline what type of work you want them to perform beforehand. I didn't feel pressured by them. Also, everyone was super pleasant to speak with. ?”

They said I needed my spark plugs replaced, they did it, and then I was on my way. Easy as that. And they did a really good job with it.
WARNING: they don't really explain what they're doing in too much detail. But if you don't really care about knowing *exactly* what they're doing, then it's not a big problem at all.”

“Recently my car was making a loud noise. I took it in to another shop and was told I needed all kinds of repairs equaling over $2600. I could not believe it. I took my vehicle here for a second opinion and was told it was only one thing that I needed to repair. They fixed my alternator and my car is running great. “Incredible! They saved me at least $500. They were the only mechanic that picked up when I called, and also told me to bring the car straight in. Car wasn’t starting. Autozone told me my battery was fine, and I needed a new alternator. Took it to DB auto repair and they said the alternator and starter were fine, I just needed a new battery and recommended I go to Costco bc they are cheapest in the valley. Saved me a bunch of money and were very quick to get me sorted. Thank you guys, I’ll be back if I need anything else!”

“I came in a couple days ago for an oil change. I mentioned that I would be going on a road trip to California. Your whole crew went above and beyond to make sure I would travel safely and comfortably. I can't remember names but the older gentleman with the salt and pepper goatee (I'm sure he's younger than me!), the young kid eating his sandwich, and the guy with the sleeve tattoos were so kind and so thorough. They caught my bad brake light, they cleaned up my cabin filter ( and showed me how to change it myself if I wanted to later).Those guys know their stuff! “I took my ‘04 Jag here and they spent ample time listening to my concerns, conspiracy theories about that one “whistling” noise, and questions. Great guys that know what they’re doing and I didn’t feel pressured to buy any specific thing. They laid out general recommendations and didn’t try to sway me either way. They are a little pricier, but they’re one of very few Jaguar-approved mechanics in Utah and I wanted to take mine to a shop with thorough experience and manufacturer approval. Would recommend for any of your European cars if you’re looking for experienced people with the right equipment and parts.
Edit 9/4/24: they have done extensive work for me at this point and have been amazing and patient explaining everything. I had to take the car back and it turns out a part they received did not work. They fixed it under the warranty for free. They care about the quality of work they do and I appreciate it greatly.”

“I have been working with Weston, Junior, and Mike recently on a leveling kit install for my truck. I told them exactly what I wanted and they followed my directions perfectly. The problem was, I was incorrect in what I was asking for and I wasn’t happy with how it turned out. They immediately got me back in and made adjustments. They sent me pictures and maintained contact through the process until it was looking just like I hoped. The ride is much improved and it looks exactly like I wanted. I’ve been to this shop a lot over the past couple years and they have always done a great job. They are friendly and helpful and I will continue to use them in the future.”
