“LOVE this Vet! They were very patient and kind with me and Princess. This was Princess' first visit to the vet, so I was worried how she was going to do. She did great, and I credit that to the staff and the office. It was clean and everyone was excited to see Princess.”

“2/5/24 UPDATED: I received a phone call today from Dr. Beau Beck. He called regarding the 11/23/24 Google review described below. Beau said the review from November made it to his attention yesterday and he wanted to reach out quickly once he became aware of the situation. Beau acknowledged the wrong doing in November, took ownership on behalf of the clinic, and expressed a desire to make things right. Beau said he was going to have Tara, the Practice Administrator immediately refund the balance for which I was overcharged. I received an email from Tara a couple hours later with an updated statement and confirmation of the refund. Though the issue was more about honesty integrity, and transparency than the dollar amount, it was nice for Beau to provide a refund. I want to align, work with, and take business to people and entities that are upfront, honest, and transparent in all they do. I appreciate Beau reaching out today, asking questions, taking time to understand, acknowledging the clinic error, making an effort to correct the situation, and offering his assurance of an excellent experience moving forward, with clear communication, full transparency, and accurate billing. I am updating my Google review to 5 stars as a result. I also plan to resume taking my horses to South Valley Equine.11/24/23: I have been taking my horses to South Valley Equine for approximately 30 years. The veterinary personnel have always been courteous and professional. I had two horses in the clinic today for an immunization appointment I scheduled last week. I was quoted $100 per horse when I made the appointment. Approximately the same amount as recent years. A veterinarian and technician I had never worked with greeted me this morning. Both of them were courteous. The technician first listened to each horses heart and checked their temperature. Immunizations were then administered. Everything seemed fairly routine in comparison with previous visits. When I went into the office to pay, they said it would be $379. I questioned the charges and informed the office personnel I was told it would be $100 per horse when I scheduled the immunizations last week. The office manager Taylor Lyne literally said the price has gone up. She further stated we shouldn’t quote prices over the telephone. I told her they did quote and always have provided me with rates verbally when I schedule. I asked her if they record their phone calls and asked her to play the recording back so we could all listen. She said they do not record phone calls. She finally agreed the up-charge was a lot for checking a temperature. She decreased the extra charges from an advanced exam to a basic exam. Again, I told her I did not schedule or ask for any exam, I scheduled and asked for immunizations only, the same as I have been doing for nearly 20 years. I had my receipt for immunizations from the previous year with me. It included the same quoted price without any exam. I told the office manager it is not about the money, rather the principle. I asked for immunizations only, the price quoted was $100, and that is what I scheduled. You came up with and charged me $379 afterwards without any communication. My horses were in the clinic for no more than 20 minutes total between the two of them including the clinic prep time and small talk. The clinic doubled the price on me at their discretion. Nothing more was done at this visit with either horse than any prior visit other than checking a temperature. The office manager said there is nothing she can do about it. Apparently this is their new business model. Don’t give a quote, if they do, deny the quote, and charge whatever they would like at checkout. My poor Google review is the result of dishonesty, lack of transparency, and terrible customer service when trying to resolve the discrepancy with them. Unfortunate after a lot of years and some good veterinarians. If someone from South Valley Equine with more authority than your office manager would like to contact me, I am happy to speak further.”

“I would give 10 Stars if I could. We have been so taken care of here at Alpine Animal Hospital. The staff are kind and considerate and the vet has called and given updates and given me as much feedback as I have needed. He and his staff have watched my cat around the clock for me and given her so much medical care and help while being aware of my budget and working with me. I highly recommend.”

“Dr Hooley was very caring about my 12 1/2 year old mini dachshund, she had started dragging her left front paw so I took her in. Dr Hooley checked her and said unfortunately I'm pretty sure she has a slipped disc or a herniated one in her neck, she gave her some medication and never was like let's do imaging and possibly look into surgery. I never felt at any point that she was just there for the money. Dr.Hooley cares about the animals and their people.”

“The staff is very friendly, patient, and helpful. We switched here because they were willing to see us the same day for a small surgery for my dog. They were very throughout and showed genuine concern and care for my pet. They made follow-up calls and have always even available when we have needed them. Thank you, Intermountain Veternary Services!”

“We love them. Especially Dr. Hatton. We have had nothing but wonderful experiences here and have recommended them to multiple people. We feel that they have always taken the very best care of our little kitties. And they go above and beyond answering all of our dumb questions without making us feel dumb haha. LOVE that Banfield has an app to review all of their labs, invoices, etc. I can also see if they are up-to-date on all of their vaccines and stuff. The staff have all been so wonderful to our cats. But the biggest testament to how great they are is that our boy cat LOVES going to see them. Prances around the little room and everything. I swear Banfield is his favorite place. Dr. Hatton & all the techs (Brandy, AJ, and Kat to name a few) are always so sweet to them both–even our sassy little girl who has the normal-cat-reaction to the vet and can be a little difficult to handle. Anyway, we have had nothing but a great experience with them and have recommended them to many people!”
