“While Marioot is not my preferred brand i was pleas let surprised by this hotel and its service.
Provo is a beautiful place, full of inspiring natural surroundings. This hotel is at the base of the Wassach Mountain range and we throughly enjoyed our stay.
The rooms were spacious and accommodating, amenities were plentiful up to date but the true standout would be the staff.
The hotel was immaculately kept and anytime you needed someone they were there with a friendly smile to help.
Would absolutely stay again.”

“Initially left a low review due to an issue with my room's AC. The night staff did not have the ability to look at it, move me or refund me until maintenance could look at it in the morning. Had an incredibly hard time getting to sleep.

Maintenance came by bright and early and fixed the AC, and management called to apologize and comped my first night. Unfortunately the AC slowly started getting worse again, but this time they moved me.

Both rooms I had were super clean, spacious and well equipped. As the name suggests, they are meant to be a whole studio apartment.

I wish I hadn't had to put up with the AC that attempted to pop my eardrums all night, but they made it right in the end.

Front desk staff were all delightful, but not sufficiently empowered. They all knew the reasonable accomodations, but were unable to provide any to me without a manager being present. This is the only reason a star was docked.”

“It’s more affordable than a hotel three streets over. There may not be cabinets to store clothing in all the rooms, but the beds are comfy and the place is clean as can be. The two rooms I’ve stayed in have massive garden tubs. Really appreciate that it’s close walking distance to the event I was attending. This is a renovated mansion with themed rooms. It’s not a hotel and doesn’t try to be. Even with that the place has free wifi and TVs with apps. Just expect to have to go to the common area to sit and read or use a computer, unless you don’t mind doing that from a bed. There may not be a person at a desk at all times, but they coordinate and take care of things nicely.

Rooms: Themed and comfortable, the rooms focus on a bed and breakfast style. They’ve taken steps to make sure there’s a place to hang jackets or a dress or two. Everything is very clean. Beds are large and very comfortable. I stayed in two different rooms due to needing to stay an extra day, so got to stay in a Library themed one and another with a nautical style. Outlets are limited, but that’s expected given the age of the building. Still made sure there’s at least a power strip or extension cord!

Nearby activities: Lots of different food options are nearby. I was in town for a conference, so wasn’t looking for other entertainment. Did notice event flags on the light poles around talking about a film festival. Those are one off things, but the point is that this place puts you close enough to likely not even need a rideshare to get to them.

Walkability: Barely minutes from coffee and and breakfast. Three blocks from a couple of pastry shops and pizza places. It’s ideal if you want to be close to the Utah Valley convention center. There’s quite a variety of food options within a 15 minute walk of the place. Good to get out and stretch those legs. Whole area is pretty flat, which made it easy for me.”

“Room was clean and comfortable, especially the bed. The doors are extremely heavy and loud when they shut on their own. Very jarring. The staff was very friendly.”

“We stayed in a few hotels over the last couple months and Ramada had the best price, best service, great stay and we were there for a week and I'm not even going to get into the streak house restaurant attached, let's just say 5 stars from me.

Nearby activities: There's a giant target, a sportsman's warehouse, Sam's club, attached steak house, plenty of gas stations, golf course across the street, right next to the I15 freeway on and off ramp, home Depot basically in the parking lot and provo town center Mall all within ¼ mile, just about every fast food you can think of plenty to do.”

“Given that my previous edit of this review was rather negative, one would imagine that I'd never come back to this hotel. Funny enough, I found myself in a very similar situation that I was in back in 2019, and did end up staying at this hotel again for 2 weeks. During that time, I was quite impressed with the improvements that were made since my last stay here! The staff was responsive, and had no issues extending my stay on the multiple times that doing so was needed. While there were still some issues with the room I stayed in, it had none of the issues I had reported previously, and they were nearly unnoticeable in my day-to-day.Truth is, this place is perhaps the cheapest hotel you're going to find in Provo, and for the price it honestly isn't bad. Sure, there's no free breakfast or fancy cable to the TV's, but those are things I didn't need. They more than make up for it by offering such a low rate, and they even have the ability to take payments via Venmo (I didn't use that to pay for my stay, but I certainly saw the appeal)! The one and only negative (if you could call it that) was an odd bulge in the floor between the bed and the bathroom. It wasn't bad enough to trip me up, but it easily made its presence known when I forgot about it.Nearby activities: Historic Downtown Provo is just a few blocks up the road. Even if you can't find a rentable scooter nearby, UVX is quite conveniently placed. Last time I toured HDP, I found a rather enjoyable VR Lounge that certainly did not disappoint! There is also The Good Move Cafe a couple blocks North of HDP, which has some amazing food and a large selection of games (I do have a review of that location).Walkability: This hotel is very close to the nearby UVX Route and one of its stops, not to mention an easy walking distance to Historic Downtown Provo. There are plenty of nearby amenities, and I'm told the Hispanic restaurant right across the street has some amazing food (I sadly could not find the time to go myself)!”
