If management reads this, you might want to speak to the company that does ice and snow removal in the parking lot outside of your store. Today it was pure ice especially right by the handicap parking where people can't afford to fall. “I'd been to show stores all over the city, and has a very difficult time finding shoes that witches for me. I have very wide feet and a high instep, so it's hard to find good shoes. I went to Trade home, and William and Andrew took the challenge, and smashed it out of the park. They showed me a bunch of shoes they thought would work, and eventually introduced me to this wonderful pair of Olu'Kai boat shoes. I'd never heard of this brand, but I'm in love now. I've had them for a few weeks now, and I can thank those guys enough for taking the time and having the knowledge to help me. I will be back when these wear out.If you're shopping in the mall for shoes, it's worth the trip to Tradehome.”

“I had an amazing experience here! I went in to get my first pair of pointe shoes. I’m 19 and getting my first pair. I was really nervous that I would be judged or expected to know exactly what shoe I wanted/needed. The staff was all so kind, very knowledgeable, and kept their small store very clean and uncluttered! When I first walked in I was immediately greeted by one of the staff even though it was really busy. She helped me and others in the store quickly and efficiently. She was very kind and made sure I had all the necessary items I needed. All the staff knew exactly what they were talking about and that helped me feel very good about my purchase and it shows how much effort they have put into their job! I also noticed as the shop was very busy with about 5 other girls getting fitted for pointe shoes they kept the place nice and clean as they went back and forth from the back of the store where they kept all the pointe shoes to all the customers they were helping! They all worked like a well oiled machine! It was an amazing experience and I will definitely be coming back!”

“Wow. Google calls this place a "Department Store." Hmmmm. It may have been that one at a time, but over the course of 3 or 4 decades it has morphed from that into a party supply store, followed by (mostly) a bookstore with a corner of the place dedicated to Boy Scout uniforms and book supplies. Yeah. If that sounds weird, it is because it is. But hey, they have TONS of interesting stuff. Make sure you have a few hours to burn before walking in the door. The guy running the place is fun to talk to. Has a pretty old school feel to it. If you are feeling adventurous (and by that I mean, like "Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom Adventurous") then take a trip down to the basement... if you can find the light switch....”

“Smaller than it used to be with fewer choices. Before they had 2998 shoes that I would never buy, and 2 that I love. Now, it's only about 1498 shoes that I would never buy, and 1 that I love, and 1 that I just don't like as much. It's not a diss on Famous Footwear. If I ever open my store called "Forever 39" then there will only be 3 shoe choices for men. Not 3 categories... 3 actually different kinds of shoes, and that's it. Formal, sporty, and regular-around-the-house tennis shoes. Easy peasy. But! If you want more selection than that from a store that actually exists already, Famous Footwear is the place for you. They only nag you one time per visit about whether you need help.”
