“This is the best place to buy modest comfortable clothes and shoes! My mom and I went in today and were immediately greeted with a smile by Sterling, she was the sweetest! She was so helpful and kind and spent several hours helping us along with Maddi.They were both very knowledgeable and went out of their way to help us look things up and find sizes/colors we wanted. They gave great tips and advice for missions, which was very exciting! We were so so grateful not to have to shop at several stores all day to find things that might work.We were able to find everything we needed for my mom to go on her mission and were thrilled. It was overall a great experience :) We really felt cared for when we were given suggestions based on our preferences. Really the best place for anyone to shop for church, everyday, and even prom dresses! I even got shoes for work even though I am not going on a mission. “I had foot problems that my doctor said was plantar fasciitis. After enduring the pain for a while I went into Modern Shoe. Our sales person was Will. He did a scan of my feet. Watched me walk. Asked me were the pain was and said he though it was a different tendon than the plantar tendon. He recommended a slightly larger shoe and an inexpensive insole. I literally walked out of the store in less pain. That day I walked more than I could before and at the end of the day, my pain had decreased instead of increased. It did not take much longer for the pain to go away all together. My doctor told me to expect 6 -10 months to get my foot to heal. Wearing the shoes Will sold me it healed in a week.My wife had a similar experience. We agree that if we have foot pain again, we'll go to modern shoe before we go to the doctor - that have been that helpful!”

“I love going to this store - super clean, modern, and I get greeted every time my an employee. Must shop their clearance/sale racks - I always find something in there that suits me. The location is crazy convenient - next to Baskin Robbins and Olive Garden! Their clothing is modest but cute and sexy too!”

“I went into red wing to see about getting some new work boots. They had modern equipment that could measure my feet and how I walked so they could recommend the exact shoes that would work for me. I came home with two pair that have been good for my feet and lasted a long time. I would recommend this store and their staff for the best service.”
“Great selection of men’s suits, shoes, ties, belts, and more. They also have kids belts and ties. They don’t have the super small sizes for little toddlers but you can easily suit up an 8 year old. They will alter suits you buy for the best fit. The young men that work there are helpful and nice to work with .”

“I went to this Nordstrom rack for a friends birthday gift. It was a long day at work- but I had fun finding her a cute little gift. But the best part was when I got to the register. The cashier was SO VERY CUTE. and so very nice. I did a quick ring check to see if he was unwed- and my prayers were answered. He continued to chat and make me giggle, until I had to leave. “I had an amazing experience here! I went in to get my first pair of pointe shoes. I’m 19 and getting my first pair. I was really nervous that I would be judged or expected to know exactly what shoe I wanted/needed. The staff was all so kind, very knowledgeable, and kept their small store very clean and uncluttered! When I first walked in I was immediately greeted by one of the staff even though it was really busy. She helped me and others in the store quickly and efficiently. She was very kind and made sure I had all the necessary items I needed. All the staff knew exactly what they were talking about and that helped me feel very good about my purchase and it shows how much effort they have put into their job! I also noticed as the shop was very busy with about 5 other girls getting fitted for pointe shoes they kept the place nice and clean as they went back and forth from the back of the store where they kept all the pointe shoes to all the customers they were helping! They all worked like a well oiled machine! It was an amazing experience and I will definitely be coming back!”

“Smaller than it used to be with fewer choices. Before they had 2998 shoes that I would never buy, and 2 that I love. Now, it's only about 1498 shoes that I would never buy, and 1 that I love, and 1 that I just don't like as much. It's not a diss on Famous Footwear. If I ever open my store called "Forever 39" then there will only be 3 shoe choices for men. Not 3 categories... 3 actually different kinds of shoes, and that's it. Formal, sporty, and regular-around-the-house tennis shoes. Easy peasy. But! If you want more selection than that from a store that actually exists already, Famous Footwear is the place for you. They only nag you one time per visit about whether you need help.”
“I rarely go to the mall these days. We got the help we needed when we wanted it and our gal even placed a special order for me because they didn’t have my size. It will be sent right to my house so I don’t have to come back and get it AND shipping was free! Can’t wait! ? Our gal was kind, courteous, and wasn’t trying to rush us even thought it was closing time. I’m sad I can’t remember her name though. (April 27th just before 9pm maybe you can find her based on the schedule) and I got the email right away, but it was in my spam folder so be sure to check there.”
