“I cannot thank Dr. Schmidt enough for the care he has shown my dog Lola. She was diagnosed with IVDD a few days ago and surgery is not in our budget so he is helping us work through the best way to care for our dog and keep her as comfortable as possible. He has made himself available in between other patients to get back to me with answers to my questions as soon as he can. We normally see vets at Riverton Animal Hospital but because of the care we were shown at the urgent care location we will absolutely be switching. This has been a very difficult couple of days and your staff has been both but helpful and caring. It means the world to have a vet shown this much care when navigating a very difficult time with Lola.”

While I did have an issue at a previous location where the vet could not identify my dogs issue and I spent a lot of money on the wrong treatment, I do think that overall they are great hospitals with good prices and convenient locations. (An ER vet was able to identify the disease in one visit and it was easily fixed)
This location was great, the office was clean and they have pads on their scale and their table so my pup wasn't so scared to slide! Such a small thing really makes all the difference for the pets. I feel like I don't often see pads on the scales/tables to help pets have more traction.

“I’ve been taking my cats here since 2020 and now have all my family and some coworkers going here too. I primarily see Dr. Albergo and Dr. Ingraham and love them both! They’ve been there with us through a lot. When it was time to say goodbye to our eldest in 2021, in dealing with my neurotic youngest, and in all the ups and downs of my diabetic middle child the last 4 years. They understand his case and work collaboratively within their own practice to treat him, as well as with specialists at MedVet, Blue Pearl, and AVC to best manage his very complicated case. They demonstrate care for me and do their best to help me manage the costs of his care. They communicate well with me and the specialists across the valley who also support his case. I love Riverton Veterinary and am deeply grateful for them and the care they give my whole family, furry and non-furry!”

Despite it being the worst day of our lives their kindness made it a little easier. Every person that we interacted with was thoughtful and compassionate and so gentle with us and our baby girl. Dr Zachary and her staff are phenomenal. We will absolutely be going there for care for any pets in the future.”

“Took my cat in for a severe urinary tract issue. Poor Fred was in serious trouble. These people, to the last man were kind, caring and professional every step of the way. As a very concerned parent i might have called them 5 times too many but they took it like a champ. Fred is currently in the healing process but hes back and peeing again! I will go back without hesitation”
“Pet store # 5 for the weekend. My daughter's beta didn't make it through the weekend and she wanted a new friend. Here is where she found her new friend. They had one of the largest selections of beta fish. And the selection of "other" fish was pretty impressive. The young man working in the fish section was very knowledgeable and very patient with my daughter and her line up of potential new fish. When my daughter final found "the one" he also helped select tears and food for her buddy. The other employees we encountered we very helpful and friendly. Over all a pleasant experience.”

*Yet another visit: I took my rabbit in that had been injured not having had an appointment beforehand. They fit me in on an already slam packed day for them. Dr. McQuire performed a beautiful surgery on this little bun. Rabbits have delicate systems and pass away easily while under anesthesia. Their systems are so delicate, they more often die from fright than from injury or starvation. Dr. McGuire worked quickly, with precision and saved our little guy. I can't say enough about Animal Medical Services. Love-love them!!”

“The wait time was pretty long and the cost isn’t cheap but they do the best they can after all it is all walk ins like an ER and only one vet to take care of all the animals. They took my cat Gorducha to the back where I couldn’t go with her because there’s only 2 exam rooms which were full. The Vet (don’t remember his name unfortunately) came out to talk to me himself to explain he needed to sedate her to flush out her mouth and pull the infected tooth if there was one. I really appreciated the fact that he came to talk to me himself rather than send a tech with the information. There are many bad reviews on here about the vets not caring and giving bad treatment to the animals but that’s not what i experienced. I want to say thank you to the vet and the techs that treated my cat that night. My cat was in so much pain she was running away and hiding anytime I tried to give her food for almost 2 days. But once I got her back home she was feeling so much better she ate a whole bowl of dry food. ❤️ thank you pet urgent care ❤️”
