“I cannot thank Dr. Schmidt enough for the care he has shown my dog Lola. She was diagnosed with IVDD a few days ago and surgery is not in our budget so he is helping us work through the best way to care for our dog and keep her as comfortable as possible. He has made himself available in between other patients to get back to me with answers to my questions as soon as he can. We normally see vets at Riverton Animal Hospital but because of the care we were shown at the urgent care location we will absolutely be switching. This has been a very difficult couple of days and your staff has been both but helpful and caring. It means the world to have a vet shown this much care when navigating a very difficult time with Lola.”

I was recommended to buy prescription cat food, which needs to be approved by the vet before a retailer will sell it. I was super impressed with the speed of which they approved my request. They’ve been there with us through a lot. When it was time to say goodbye to our eldest in 2021, in dealing with my neurotic youngest, and in all the ups and downs of my diabetic middle child the last 4 years. They understand his case and work collaboratively within their own practice to treat him, as well as with specialists at MedVet, Blue Pearl, and AVC to best manage his very complicated case. They demonstrate care for me and do their best to help me manage the costs of his care. They communicate well with me and the specialists across the valley who also support his case. I love Riverton Veterinary and am deeply grateful for them and the care they give my whole family, furry and non-furry!”

“We had planned on an in-home service to euthanize our dog but their schedule did not work. We called VCA and set an appointment for 4:30pm. Our dog was getting worse so they accommodated us at 2. I could not have done it in home and been any happier with the service. Hannah especially was so great with us and our dog. She truly went above and beyond. I didn't even want to open the box to look at him after, but I'm glad I did. Hannah had him wrapped so nice in a blanket and he looked really peaceful. Thank you for giving us a great closing memory of our friend of 18 years.”

“Dr. Edmonds and all the folks we interacted with at this clinic were incredible.
My husband and I have a 14-year-old-pup who is definitely aging (early kidney, liver, and heart disease), but still relatively healthy all things considered. We are doing things to mitigate the newly developing health issues, but also want to be conscientious about unnecessary medications and their side effects. With our previous vet, we left the last visit feeling overwhelmed, undereducated, and not really heard. The appointment was rushed, and it was hard not to feel that that vet didn't have time for or interest in our perspective and concerns. The other vet wanted to start our little fella on a number of medications all at once - some definitely necessary (i.e., treating and mitigating liver and kidney disease), others not. And there was this sense of fear that our pup was going to suddenly and rapidly decline, despite very normal activity and behavior.
Seeing Dr. Edmonds was a night and day difference. He was calm, thorough, and very informative. He gave us more time than I think we were technically scheduled for, which I know isn't always possible, but with the laundry list of worries and questions, it was so appreciated. He listened openly to the insights we felt like we had to offer as the ones who see our pup day-in and day-out, but also talked with us (as opposed to taking at us) about what he was seeing as a vet and which health concerns needed attention versus the ones that were mild enough to really only warrant observation for now. We left feeling informed, prepared with what to do to care for our aging pup effectively, and much calmer overall.
In addition to Dr. Edmonds, all of the gals working there during our visit were so kind and professional. Our tech in particular was very sweet to our pup, and listened with a lot of care and concern to my husband and I (and we can be a bit chatty haha).
We are both sincerely grateful to Dr. Edmonds and everyone at the clinic. Y'all are wonderful!”
“The grooming is excellent, they make my dog smell so good and be so soft! It is very expensive though, I have a borded collie and when i take her to get groomed it is $110 withought a tip. Dr.Nelson is amazing as well she helps my puppy and gives the best recommendations.”
“Good service so far. I visited them for dental service and a fecal test for my dog. I felt the dental service was cheaper compared to other vets and they did a great job.
They also have free dental brushing per week, once we do deep cleaning. All staffs are very friendly and my dog loves to visit this place.”
“Pet store # 5 for the weekend. My daughter's beta didn't make it through the weekend and she wanted a new friend. Here is where she found her new friend. They had one of the largest selections of beta fish. And the selection of "other" fish was pretty impressive. The young man working in the fish section was very knowledgeable and very patient with my daughter and her line up of potential new fish. When my daughter final found "the one" he also helped select tears and food for her buddy. The other employees we encountered we very helpful and friendly. Over all a pleasant experience.”

Harleigh, Austin , and Lori are all great and will provide a report card at the end of the session. Kris was also great for an intermediate training session. Highly recommend!”
“We had an emergency with our senior dachsund. We thought it was going to be the end for her. PetCare was quick to get us in. The nurse and the vet were wonderful and so helpful. They were very good about explaining things to us in a way that eased our worries. Our dog Zoey is still with us and feeling much better. They truly care about the pet more than about upselling with unnecessary expenses. We were so impressed, we've decided to make Dr. Emch our regular vet.”

“This was my first visit to Mtn Point and it was a long story to tell Kelly. She was VERY patient, took a lot of time to hear and ask questions, and didn’t rush us. She was very informative, and gave us a lot of useful instructions. I was very appreciative of her time, attention, and thought she gave to the horse. All of her staff was also very professional, kind, and helpful. I will absolutely recommend her, this facility, and will go back as needed!”
