Additionally, the technicians were able to detect some other items that needed attention. Jordan was very professional and courteous. The Gunn Chevrolet prices were a bit high, but the issues were addressed for the most part and the initial reason why I came in for service was resolved. I did have one of my warning lights come back on less than a week from getting everything serviced though.”
“I can't recommend Import Euroworks enough! Despite taking my car in late in the day, Paco and his team jumped right on it, starting work on my BMW X5 almost immediately. He even went above and beyond by recommending reliable tow truck services, which made the whole process so much easier. I purchased my car from Gillman Subaru a few years 2018. I have kept it very well-maintained, Garage kept, and have always taken my car to Gillman Subaru anytime needed anything. I went back this week as my warranty Expires in a week or so.. The first thing I noticed, is that all the service personnel that I have worked with over the years are Somehow, all gone now. They cleaned house to include service manager. I told them the issues that I see, I also told them that I have a workaround, and that “none of them are a big deal, Just let me know what you find.” . I discussed the issues with the service person, as well as the mechanic supervisor. I said since the warranty is up, please just review those items to see if it’s something covered by the warranty. They had my car literally all day long. When I went in to get my car, they did not do anything that I requested. Instead, they went through the car and have caused issues to make everything worse. I also have a car battery that is a higher cold cranking amps then the OEM one. That battery is two years old, and I have never had any issues with it. They tried selling me new tires, at around $300 a Tire. To make things much worse, they kept trying to push a car battery on me that cost over $450.00. They told me the battery kept dropping voltage and amps. Today I went and checked my battery, and regardless of the load I put on it, the voltage and amp does not drop.
I am not sure if the staff are 100% incompetent, or if they are being pressured by management to scam customers, and so unnecessary parts and services.
Today I put in five phone calls to the service manager. Every time I call, I am told he is in a meeting. I then placed a phone call asking for Gillman Subaru general manager.. Still no phone call
9/4/24 UPDATE: I did go meet with the new service manager, expressed my concerns as listed above. He he scheduled a time for me to bring my car back in. He had the technicians go through everything,. He made good on his promises too the issues. so I have now updated the review to status of four stars. I did not give five stars, as no customer should have to go through all that.”

“I have bought several cars throughout the course of my life and it is one of the things I loathe most. I have never interacted with a salesman where I didn't feel like they were a vulture who pretended to have my best interest at heart but in reality they were just playing me to earn a buck. Then you have the negotiating part which is equally as horrible and the financing where everything is an up sale. I never have any desire to interact with people who are not genuine unless I absolutely have too. Two nights ago I was in search of a new truck. I messaged several dealers throughout the day and the particular truck I was looking for wasn't available anywhere but everyone would try to convince me why I wanted something different only because it's what they had available on their lot. At 10:30pm I found something I was interested in and submitted an inquiry. Because it was really late I didn't expect a response until the morning. To my surprise, within a couple of minutes, Carlos Polino text me letting me know that the truck was available and he would love to show it to me the next day. The next morning he followed up and we arranged a time for me to go. My schedule is hectic but I showed up early because I was free, not expecting him to be available. To my surprise he was standing at the front of the store and immediately greeted me. At the young age of 21 he lead with humility and grace. His knowledge of the GMC brand and specific products was very impressive. You could tell that he wasn't just passionate about trucks and cars but he also took a lot of pride and loved his job. He frequently offered water and snacks as we went through the process and at the end of it all we walked away purchasing two vehicles for our family. He introduced us to Steve (management) who was equally as friendly and. had a genuine interest in who we are and what we do. This was hands down the greatest car buying experience I have ever encountered by an amazing team of individuals. I would encourage anyone who's in the market for a new vehicle to go out and visit Carlos.”
