“During my second year of rental I’ve discovered why it’s Happy mini storage. Flew down from Wisconsin to grab something out of storage and forgot my key. They cut my lock off for me with no hassle beyond proving my identity.
A previous storage unit removed my lock because they wanted them all to match, lost the key, and I was forced to hire a locksmith to get the lock off. Big hassle and zero happiness that day.

“Clean units with minimal staff interaction needed. Gate hours 6:00am to 10:00pm.
They include a mandatory $20 lock purchase when you sign up online and claim that it can be refunded. I tried and the staff didn't even know how to issue a refund; they only know how to credit future rent. If you're going to be in the unit for less than one month, plan on it costing you an extra $20.
Edit: It took a couple of days, but they got me the refund! Five stars!”
