“Herberts is definitely my favorite restaurant for Tex-Mex food. They've got the best enchiladas and chicken fried steak. Their chicken enchilada verdes are the best. And the food always comes out very hot. This place is always super busy and it's because the food is so good. They are known for their enchilada gravy and have been voted just about the best of everything on the menu. Always very fast service and super friendly servers. If you want to grab a bite to eat and your in a hurry, this is the place to come because the food comes out so quick and hot. I love Herbert's and would recommend to family and friends. A true staple in San Marcos.”

Their windshield cleaning station is nice and new, the squeegees are in great shape and don't scratch your window like the other gas stations on Linda.”

“I'm a night shift nurse, I work in Kyle, Texas. I dropped in here to pick up the stuff i like to have with me for a 12 hour shift. I didn't see a product I was looking for...The gentleman on duty saw me searching...searching."what are you needing?" he said. I told him, long story short..They now stock it.I am treated as a valuable customer. “I always like the pick up of groceries, it helps me since I have anxiety and don't like going into the store. The pick up workers are always very nice. I hope they get lots of time for breaks in summer when it's hot outside. I wish the inside of the store was not so claustrophobic feeling, that's the reason I give for 4 stars instead of 5.”

“I went to the Walmart in San Marcos for the very first time and I have to tell you this is the most cleanest organized Walmart I have ever been in all my 65 years. The store looked really sharp. Everything is organized the cloth sections were immaculate.If you're in San Marcos, definitely stop there Walmart and check it out. You'll be impressed just like I was.”

“I've been using the H‑E‑B in Wimberley for three years since our move to the area. I initially tried other stores but 2020 killed that effort. The practices used by the store for its employees and patrons were exemplary. Due to my husband's health, I used Curbside for that year. Great group of people who are supported by the whole store. Now I shop both in the store and Curbside as needed. Friendly and helpful employees. Good quality veggies and fruits. Good quality meats, fish, and products. I wouldn't shop here if it wasn't clean. The managers listen well to compliments and requests. Now, if they would start carrying Rosemary Pimento cheese again, it would be bliss!”
