“Valet was courtesy, professional and prompt! Beautiful decor and very clean hotel. Rebecca checked us in and was polite and welcoming. Brittany at the bar is the best! Very personable and made us really enjoy our time there. Location is prime! Attractions, great eats all at your doorstep. Room service was prompt, food was hot and delicious. Rooms are spacious and clean. The water at this hotel was soft and felt great not having dry skin after a shower. This is a great hotel, great service (they anticipate your needs) and so glad we stayed here this time visiting Riverwalk.”

“The service was excellent. From the front desk to the bellhop to the housekeeping everyone was friendly, helpful, and very professional. I was upgraded before I arrived due to my Titanium status and was impressed at the elegance of the lobby and 1st floor area.The junior suite king room was large and had a great view of the park. Some of the furniture was worn or very slightly stained and it could probably use a slight refresh. Also, I randomly had this kitchen (kinda) in my room but it was just a mini fridge, sink, and microwave with 100 empty drawers and cabinets. No cutlery of napkins or anything. Rather odd.The park across the street was filled with people through the day and night and there was a bus stop directly across from the lobby but it felt quiet and always safe. Easily walkable to the Alamo, riverwalk, and many restaurants.”

“Relax, Reflect, and Refocus was the purpose of my visit on 3/13/2024. I was able to do exactly that!! This was my first visit since the pandemic, and I’m not sure why it took me so long to get back and experience the Mokara! The massage from Cesar was exceptional from start to finish. The pressure was perfect and the ambiance was exceptional. My appointment was at 1pm, but I checked in at 9am and enjoyed the amenities (whirlpool, steam room, sauna, and relaxation lounge) before my appointment. I stayed until 6 pm enjoying the serenity and relaxation. I was able to reflect on all the todo lists of the many areas I divide my time. I have never had the opportunity to just sit and quietly reflect. I now have a refocused outlook to organize daily todo lists to accomplish all I need to do to successfully address the various areas in my life.Donte, the Spa Concierge was attentive while also not too attentive to allow for time to relax. Hubert, the Spa Director, came by after the service to check-in.I love the complimentary valet parking available so I don’t have to worry about finding parking downtown.Overall, from start to finish, it was an incredible 9-hour spa day full of relaxation, reflection, and refocus!”

“This place was an amazing hotel with comfy rooms and very sweet workers. The hotel is a 15 minute walk from the Alamo, Riverwalk, and lots of yummy restaurants. I definitely recommend this hotel!Food & drinks: This hotel offers free breakfast and it is very delicious. The workers were very sweet, especially one in particular, Tibi. Tibi was very sweet, caring, and funny. She worked hard and made sure the food was ready and fresh for all the guests. Overall, I definitely recommend this hotel.”

“What a difference a year makes! This brand new hotel is a lovely addition to the St Paul Square district! Great amenities, perfect location, and amazing staff and service! We were lucky enough to score the Presidential Suite and were pleasantly surprised with everything. The room size was perfect, the decor was subtle and chic, but the downtown views are what this room is all about! It features the only balcony on the property and we took advantage of it! We also thoroughly enjoyed the downstairs bar. Cocktails were had and vibes were enjoyed. The bartender was very talkative, which we enjoyed, and knew what he was doing. There is a lot happening at the Aiden in 2024! Be on the lookout for their new Speakeasy opening in the Spring. I have a feeling it's going to be a special place to grab a drink in San Antonio!”

“This is a quiet, old (1800s?) home in a residential neighborhood, with multiple rooms/suites. The Galway room was comfortable for one person and could work for a couple. It had a large bed, roomy closet, and a couple places to sit. Continental breakfast was included. The main floor has lovely spaces to sit and read our eat or visit. Outdoor seating is nice, especially in the morning or evening. The manager is very responsive to requests. Be aware the clawfoot tub/shower is charming but not very accessible. I'll definitely choose this over typical hotel/motel in the future.Walkability: Easy to walk to some good restaurants in the area. A little bit longer to walk to many San Antonio sites, as it's removed from tourist areas. A nice walk to historic San Pedro Springs Park.”

“A business trip with some sightseeing opportunities at the end of the week was well worth the time spent at this hotel.Being located near the San Antonio Airport made our trip conveniently located to work locations and local attractions. The hotel shuttle service helped us get around nearby restaurants and shops. Since our trip was timed during Spring Break, a golf tournament, and the Solar Eclipse, rental cars were sparse and expensive. We also utilized Lyft services, which proved to be a good choice.Hotel options like a bountiful breakfast buffet with made-to-order omelets fueled us well for the day - whether for work or leisure sightseeing. Finishing the day with complimentary drinks and snacks helped keep us going for any remaining work ahead or just winding down.Additional amenities included a workout center with some good options to get in some exercise if so desired. Or you could try some pool time to work out your muscles or just relax. I did it all and loved every moment of my time there.Having a suite made it possible for us both to either work or relax, depending on our varying schedules. That was a bonus!Thanks, Embassy Suites, for making this trip a pleasure. Great job!”

“The Good: :: it's a nice hotel, pretty brand-spanking new :: nice bath amenities (shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, q-tips, etc) :: free coffee in the lobby in the mornings :: bedside radio that offered Bluetooth capabilities, which came in nicely when relaxing or getting ready to head out for the evening :: in-room safe :: comfortable beds and bedding :: performant wifi (always appreciated for streaming!) :: robes and slippers complementary for use :: dispenser on each floor that dispenses chilled still and sparkling water both :: free tangerines on every floor for the taking :: rooftop bar gave a nice view of the city in the evening :: bathroom is spaciousThe Bad: :: room we had was pretty small, felt a bit tight :: the view we had with the neighborhood room was overlooking the currently abandoned El Tropicana hotel. not their fault, nothing that they can do about it, as it will be a thing until a new developer is willing to purchase and update the property. while the room having floor to ceiling windows is nice to allow in maximun light, be warned that it's the view of an abandoned hotel. this didn't bother me too much but may bother others. i was actually kind of hoping to see whether or not squatters were staying in any of the abandoned rooms but saw none, lol :: i'd requested that a customized note with a favorite cocktail was sent to the room for my friend who was dealing with a recent death of a relative. they futzed the cocktail (sent up 4 cans of beer instead) and gave a boilerplate greeting in the note. appreciate that they tried! but it was inline with that #nailedit kind of vibe on executionThe Ugly: :: noneWould I go back? Sure, it's on the quiet end of the Riverwalk and still allows for easy access to restaurants, bars, etc. This place is IN.”

I really enjoyed the food and cold beer. Our Bartender was very friendly and the Female Manager with glasses was incredibly sweet even with all of my requests.I am terrible with names but the entire staff was exceptional.”
