Culebra Super Meat Market is a meat market with a great selection of meats where you can pick what you want and how much you want. Their meat prices are way better than other stores, with excellent cuts of rib steaks, hamburger meat, sirloins, round steaks, roast, fajitas, and everything fresh. On the weekends you can buy menudo and barbacoa, fresh tortillas, and tacos. The food is very good and fresh for the most part. The huevos rancheros are really good and above average because of their salsa ranchera. The carne guisada is also really good. The chilaquiles taco is bomb, made fresh with crispy tortillas. However, one customer found the tamales to be old, hard, and horrible, with a bad color and weird smell. Another notes the carnitas are not that great and the chicharrón kinda sucks. The staff is super nice, though one customer felt rushed at the meat counter close to closing time. It is not a sit-down and order place but an order at the counter kind of place.
Clean. Great customer service. Best barbacoa. Like most, I wish they would sell Barbacoa on Fridays.

As a native south side born San Antonian, Culebra meat market is the only place to go ,Fresh steaks all the time, Not HEB, I just picked up T- bones for $6.99 a pound,if you want to get the Chingas Dominguez go to HEB
