“We get the flyer for this supermarket on our side of town and they always have really good deals. This place is hardly ever crowded like the other place and they always have a great selection of fresh Mexican produce like chili ancho, tomatillos, and nopales.”
“First visit to this particular neighborhood market but i passed it the other day and thought id give it a go. It was 4pm on a Tuesday and traffic wasn't as bad since it's away from culebra and the high school. The store was clean and not crowded it had every item I was looking for like a mini Walmart I was in and out in less than 40 min.”

“Did you know when ordering meat you can ask how much you want to spend in dollar rather than ordering by the pound? Just say, as an example, you want 7$ worth of whatever meat you want and that is what you shall receive. Crazy koo, right?.”

“I give it five stars on behalf of the employees and the hard work they put in. I was In there today and I see they are open on Christmas and find that sad and heartbreaking. It just goes to show how little the owner actually cares about anything other than money. The employees should be at home with their families instead of slaving for a money hungry owner. Walmart, HEB and Target will all be closed so I don't understand what the money hungry owner is trying to accomplish other than being a grinch or Scrooge. I applaud the employees and say shame on the owner!”

“Usually find everything I needed here, and today was no different. But I also bought a half pound of thin cut steak for about $8. It was the tough piece of meat ?Meats and produce have never been a strong point. But its a great place for everything else.”
“I would like to say that I am planning on cooking Barbacoa in a slow cooker for 8-10hrs here at home. I was advised to purchase beef cheeks to use as the beef meat. My 89 year old Mother suggested I call HEB Plus at McCreless Mall off S. New Braunfels st to speak to Meat Market Butchers, which I did. I spoke to Nicholas and Fernando both gentlemen giving me excellent superior advice! I was informed to purchase beef rump roast, which is more solid of a piece of meat less fat and more meat chunks. I want to thank HEB for having 2 excellent polite, kind, friendly professional Butchers! This is another reason why I prefer to shop only at HEB for all my groceries, toiletries etc. I've shopped at Walmart B4 but I have to say that HEB is my #1 store regardless of what my needs are. Thank you for having outstanding professional Butchers here! CGR”

“Absolutely love this location! Always in a rush so this baby Walmart is perfect for the quick essentials. Restrooms are clean! Always dread customer service section at Walmarts but each time I’ve been here the lady’s are so nice and informative! Produce as well, so fresh! Not to mention the gas prices! Usually the lowest I can find.”

“We had a great time in this store! We found all the items we were looking for. The employees were extremely helpful. Walked us through the store to help is find everything we wanted. They have whole ducks and pork roasting in the store. Of course I was intrigued. A lady was buying one and the guy was piecing it for her to take home. When I asked her about how to pick a good one she asked him to give me a piece to taste. It was incredible!! It is 25.99 for a whole roast duck. My family is in for a treat tonight!!! Everyone was so gracious and helpful! I highly recommend!!”
