“We had my daughter's bridal brunch at Sophie's and it could not have been a more perfect space for our event. Upscale yet comfortable enough to sit back and enjoy conversation in the main room. The brunch was served buffet style and seating was in the dining room. Spacious enough to seat 16 mimosa drinking ladies!I would highly recommend Sophie's Gasthaus for your event!”

“T Bar M Camps & Retreats has a family and Christian vibe to it that is not overt, lying just beneath the surface. Any guest from any spiritual or secular walk would feel comfortable here. As described in the advertisement, this is a sprawling property with loads of recreational venues and activities both indoors and outdoors. It is located within one hour from downtown San Antonio, yet feels very rural except for its closeness to Highway 46, which allowed for a bit of obtrusive traffic noise, and to a housing development. The room at the lodge looked to have been recently refreshed, featuring paint that looked newly applied, and custom fixtures in the bathroom, along with a fashionable walk-in shower with no tub. The room featured a refrigerator, but no microwave cooker and no coffee service. All buildings campus-wide were a good balance of rustic and luxury. The campus-wide Wi-Fi was easy to connect to and was stable and reliable.Beverages for a business conference were slow to be replenished for the next session, requiring participants to use the water cooler in the entrance area. The food was delicious and expertly cooked. The dining room was opened and meals served on time and in some instances, a few minutes early. The dining staff were gracious and accommodating. The manager would not accept a tip for her staff's excellent cooking and service. One of the beverages at one meal ran out and was not replaced.Four stars for T Bar M Camps & Retreats. All guests were in agreement that a return visit next year would be worth the somewhat steep admission price, which was worth every dollar.”

“Fantastic stay! Comfortable rooms in their own little houses. I only stayed one night and didn’t have much time to explore the grounds, but the room was nice and homey. 10/10 recommend!”

“Went to a BPA leadership conference for about 150 students and enjoyed everything. Every day breakfast, lunch, and dinner was prepared for us. There was also room for snacks. The food was well prepared and it was fun healthy (not a potato chip in sight, lol). The rooms were set up apartment style. My only complaint was the squeaky beds. I was so tired it really didn’t bother me. The meeting room was great! Nice technical equipment. The atmosphere was fantastic. Each morning I rose to sit on the patio with my coffee.”

“Victoria at the front desk was incredibly helpful! She showed me a few room options so I could decide what would work for our family. This hotel feels a little older and has no elevator but each room I looked at was clean and we are having a very comfortable stay. Much better price than others we looked at too, and easy access to Interstate.”

“I can honestly say that I haven't a bad thing to say. Room is very clean. Three days into our stay they had their routine pest control. Anything we need has been promptly given to us. Everyone here have been very accommodating and friendly. Pat has been the best in helping us. Wish everyone could be as kind. The only downfall is that we have to go next door for the ice machine and the swimming pool is out of order.Walkability: Lots of restaurants all around very close. There's a Walgreens within the same parking lot.”
