Arlan's Market is a really nice, quaint, and iconic downtown grocery store in New Braunfels with everything needed. The store is clean, well stocked, and has friendly employees. The deli food is good, including legendary fried chicken considered the best in the city, with huge, perfect pieces. The chicken strips are really breaded, and the wedges, lemonade, and bakery donuts are delicious. The ribeyes are nice and fresh, and the pears are ripe and tasty. Customers appreciate the amazing customer service and kind heart found there, with associates earning business for life. It is a definite local stop for families, who plan to return and try the menudo.
Store appears clean however it smells atrocious. It was my first and last time ever coming. Which is sad I love small companies. I just can’t stand the awful drain smell. It’s like dirty, mop, water, and sewage.
