“I took my car in for brake work after moving my business from a competitor across the street and I was very happy with the experience. Everyone communicated with me throughout the process and ensured that I was happy with the work. There was a slight delay when the team inspected the work and discovered something else that needed to be addressed. This resulted in a slight delay in getting my car back but I really appreciated how their first concern was making sure my car would be safe and functional for an upcoming road trip. They also threw in a coupon for a free detail job as compensation for the very small delay. I will be taking my family's vehicles here for future work because I was really satisfied with the prices, the communication, the customer service and ultimately the actual work done.”

“My daughter goes to school at Texas State. Just before she left for school she had her tires changed at the Firestone in our home town. By the time she got to school her car was making an awful sound.
She took it to the Firestone in SM. They told her she needed new brake pads, rotors and struts, to the tune of over $2200!! They also told her that they’d need the vehicle for 1-3 days for repairs.
I inquired in a TXST FB group and a parent there recommended Brakes and More in SM. After checking their reviews I called and spoke to the owner, David. David was kind and caring and told me to have her bring it in, that he’d like to take a look at it. He also said that they Silent need the car more than 3-4 hours, max.
Today my daughter took her car to Brakes and More. David immediately told her it didn’t sound like brakes and that it sounds like metal, but let’s take a look. 15 minutes later she called me from the road, David at Brakes N More found that it was simply a piece of bent metal rubbing and she needed none of the additional work. He even took the time to show her the brake pads and rotors and what they should look like. He checked her struts which are also just fine.
I asked her how much he charged her, NOTHING y’all!! He just took care of her, honestly and with care and concern!!
If you or your kiddos need ANYTHING vehicle related in San Marcos, please go to Brakes and More!! I can not recommend them enough!!!”

“The son was helpful with talking through the issues with the car and what repairs it needed, and he kept us up to date when things came up. He was respectful with things like asking permission before unbuckling our child's car seat in the backseat when he needed to get in there for the repair.

“I purchased a 2013 RAV4 for my daughter to drive to work. The test drive didn't reveal a faulty torque converter. Toyota's recall had expired and the dealer's price was excessive. I thought that a transmission repair shop would be the best option. I contacted Riley's and was very happy with the results. Joan asked significant questions and advised me of possible additional services that may be required. Fortunately, the torque converter was all that needed to be replaced. Joan kept me informed and they finished the job in a timely manner and for a reasonable price. I highly recommend them.”
