“After the pandemic, many retail shops lost manners. And just, honestly, basic ethics. But not this store. I haven't shopped at a Melrose since well before the pandemic. But never shopped at this specific location either. Now I will! The 3 young women I've encountered over the last 2days are just the best. I'm a talkative person and usually I'm ignored. But not these ladies, it's like having a convo with a friend. They greet you as you come in, help you around the store and say goodbye & give thanks as you leave. Some very well rounded young women. I did inform them I was sick with the flu. And they were happy to provide sanitizer. It was my responsibility to have both that and a mask. But they were kind and wore theirs. I'll be more cautious next time. Or stay home til I'm better. Overall it was a great shopping experience. Thanks.”
“Bought a GT Bike on Saturday at a Great Price. Really appreciated the helpfulness and knowledge from Lupe, took a 15 mile ride the next day without any issues. Bought a seat and kickstand, Lupe promptly installed it. If you are looking to make a bike purchase, definitely visit this location.”
“Very unprofessional staff. Was left on hold for almost 15 minutes and never got an answer on my online order. Store associate said they never received my order and placed me on hold again to check their computer. Associate never picked up while I as on hold. I called them again to try to see the status of my order and they never picked up the phone afterwards anymore. This is my first time shopping in this store and will be my last.UPDATE: Second associate that answered was professional and very helpful. He had my order ready within 3 minutes of calling!!!”

They had a wide variety of items, all sizes seemed to be in stock and as busy as they were, the employees seemed to take their time in meeting each customers needs. I want to give a special thank you to Mr. Rob who did something I don’t feel most people would have done. I bought 4 pair of basketball shorts. I “thought” I grabbed 2 XLs and 2 Larges but I accidentally grabbed a 4XL lol. So at the register Mr. Rob greeted me and let me know all sales are final and no returns. Asked me if I had a Nike account (I did) and logged in. While he was scanning the shorts, he was conscious enough to notice a mistake might’ve been made kind enough to ask, “did you mean to grab a 4x,” to which I replied, “absolutely not.” Lol I stepped out the line and grabbed the correct size and all was good. Some people might see that minimal but he could’ve just rung it up and due to the no return policy I would’ve been stuck with some 4XL shorts. So I appreciate Mr. Rob at the Nike Clearance Store in Mission Texas, for taking one additional step to rectify a mistake I made.”
