“After the pandemic, many retail shops lost manners. And just, honestly, basic ethics. But not this store. I haven't shopped at a Melrose since well before the pandemic. But never shopped at this specific location either. Now I will! The 3 young women I've encountered over the last 2days are just the best. I'm a talkative person and usually I'm ignored. But not these ladies, it's like having a convo with a friend. They greet you as you come in, help you around the store and say goodbye & give thanks as you leave. Some very well rounded young women. I did inform them I was sick with the flu. And they were happy to provide sanitizer. It was my responsibility to have both that and a mask. But they were kind and wore theirs. I'll be more cautious next time. Or stay home til I'm better. Overall it was a great shopping experience. Thanks.”

“Very unprofessional staff. Was left on hold for almost 15 minutes and never got an answer on my online order. Store associate said they never received my order and placed me on hold again to check their computer. Associate never picked up while I as on hold. I called them again to try to see the status of my order and they never picked up the phone afterwards anymore. This is my first time shopping in this store and will be my last.UPDATE: Second associate that answered was professional and very helpful. He had my order ready within 3 minutes of calling!!!”

“Was thinking of going to the Brownsville store just because the reviews were higher there and I’m normally in Brownsville on the weekends, however I decided to give McAllen a try.As soon as I walked in, Veronica came to my assistance. I explained to her what I wanted and got a full on story about feet and insoles. She tested my feet, and Ive never ever gotten a foot test before, to find out I am flat footed and should always be wearing insoles in my foot. when the time is right, ill be back to ask her who her foot doctor is. ?She showed me different boots for women and let me try them all on. I’m so glad I met her today and she made me feel very comfortable in the store. Usually I feel awkward because I know it’s mostly men, but so awesome to have a very nice woman there! Thank you for your awesome customer service and very insightful knowledge Veronica!On and it was getting close to closing time, but she insisted I take all the time I needed.
