“We went to their yearly fair called Cornyvale in Helotes.
They had a lot of rides and food and a rodeo and entertainment. We walked around and then settled in the entertainment area that was covered and had lots of seating on picnic tables. We came for The Corey Weaver Band's show. We were early so listened to other band's music til time for Corey Weaver! He had a wonderful show and a full house of several hundred people there listening and dancing. He definitely had the best show of the night!!”

“We recently celebrated my neices wedding at this beautiful venue and was so pleased with the attentiveness shown by John. Would HIGHLY recommend this venue to anyone looking to host a gathering. Bathrooms were clean and well stocked (thanks, John, for pointing it out), lol”

“The Helotes Lions Club is a great organization serving the community. Most know of the Lions Club through their work in helping people with vision testing, gaining low cost glasses, collecting glasses to be re-used with new prescription lenses, and medical research to cure blindness.But, they also have the global causes of diabetes, hunger, the environment, childhood cancer, and support local Helotes community needs. Money for such causes comes from public donations, businesses, and local club activities and events. For example, the Helotes Lions Club has a weekly bingo activity which is fun and popular with the local community, and serves to support charity.As to membership in the Helotes Lions Club, anyone can apply to join the Lions Club. It has a very low cost fee and then they too can be a leader/helper to improve their community and make a difference in people's lives. I would describe the Lions Club as a 'service above self' non-profit charity organization.”
