Lab mix has very dark nails that make me nervous to trim myself (vet has cut the quick in the past). They had no problems and were very efficient trimming hers. My pit mix is very touchy about his feet. They were able to get his dewclaws and a few of the front nails. They called it quits when they noticed him starting to stress, which I was very grateful for. Highly recommend!

2700 W State Hwy 114 Bldg 2 Ste D, GrapevineThis is the GOAT! Honestly, the staff and doctors are excellent. Compared to going to your home veterinary and being told, " we have to extract the tooth." We don't do that is human dental care, so why do it in our babies. Unless it is necessary and vital to health reasons. They saved the tooth by capping it, and though the other could not be saved, it had to come out, but it was like our wisdom teeth. Not required to chew our food.
The point is this is the place to go if you want excellent dental care.

Our Callie has a heart valve condition that could have shortened her life. Thanks to the MedVet team, she has stayed with us for over two years now and still has a quality of life as she ages. She will be 17 in January 2025 and we are looking forward to celebrating her birthday once more. Yes, it is an expensive journey, but we signed up for the full-ride the day we brought her home as a pup. We feel that the MedVet Team has cared for Callie at an extraordinary level and we are very thankful that they have been here for both Callie and us on this journey.

They had to pump both of their stomachs, keeping one overnight for further observation (turns out he ate majority of it). They kept me updated throughout the entire process, and reassured me they would do everything possible. We are about 2 weeks post op and my babies are doing GREAT! Thank you Animal Emergency Hospital of NTX for saving my dogs!

Now she’s dragging me to the backseat & to the front door of this place every single time lol. She was a super shy puppy & now she’s been going here about 4-5 months & shes full of personality & i feel like this place has totally changed her temperament in a positive way. This is a great place to let your dog get exercise & socialize. I can’t talk highly enough about this location!! We love the staff & they make our Powder feel so special!!!

We each got a tasting of a couple of their wines and in the end we both picked glasses of their sparkling rose. We sat at a high top table (which were a little hard to come by) and had a nice visit. It was busy, but not overly so. Prices were reasonable.

We ordered a family style meal that included Brisket, Pastrami Brisket, Chipotle Cheddar sausage, Smoked chicken, Mac & Cheese, Potato salad, Beans, Cucumber salad, Chips & Queso, Texas Toast,
and of course their delicious BBQ sauce! The food was better than I could have ever imagined! It was carefully crafted and cooked to perfection! Hard to choose a favorite because everything was delicious!!! The owner Trey, even served up some of our sides and he had a nice chat with our group,as we went through the line! The employees were very polite, respectful, and friendly! We even got to tour the Smoke Pit Room!! Pit master Josh was very knowledgeable and passionate about the hard work and love put into every aspect of their meats and sides! I will definitely be returning again soon and bringing some family that is visiting from out of town! I absolutely recommend, and if there is a long line, be patient….If it wasn’t worth it, there wouldn’t be a line ?

906 Jean St, GrapevineHop&Sting - A Mixed Bag of Brews. I visited Hop&Sting on a Saturday evening, eager to unleash my inner hop-head. With six IPAs on tap, I decided to go with a "beertender's choice," hoping for some guided exploration. All the IPAs I tried were distinct and quite good. My personal favorite was a pint of their "She's Intense"--higher ABV, yet surprisingly smooth with no bitter "Sting" on the back end (pun intended!). Now, y'all know I love dogs, and this is a dog-friendly spot, which is a huge plus! The beertenders were friendly, but I found them to be less informative than I'd hoped. There was a missed opportunity here; they didn't ask any questions to help me narrow down my choice among the many IPAs. It felt like a slight misstep in terms of customer engagement and sales. The atmosphere was a bit of a contrast. The indoor space felt small, while the outdoor area was quite large but lacked aesthetic appeal. Beyond a hand-painted logo, it was mostly just picnic tables and umbrellas, giving off a rather plain vibe. The music was also hard to hear, barely audible through a single speaker tucked in a corner. This place actually won Dallas's Best Brewery for 2021, 2022, and 2023, which honestly makes me want to really "beat this place up" on the setting. There are so many ways they could improve the actual ambiance, but the beer truly speaks volumes. Despite my criticisms of the setting, the beer is great, and ultimately, taste wins out. I wanted to give them 5 stars of beer but couldn't because the online menu wasn't working and the aesthetics are so bland. The building is colorful and all but let a local artist have fun with your walls.

We had come for the cinnamon roll; it was just okay. I'm not sure if it was a bit old or what, but it wasn't the same level as the other pastry. There were so many beautiful pastries that I wish we had tried instead. The staff was so helpful. The place is cute.

The atmosphere was wonderful, not too big, not too small, loved the option of a patio with live music, prices right on the par, service was friendly and fun, perfect for adults or families with kids (yes they have a kid’s menu), you can bring your dog and we loved the food (so much we brought friends the next day to try more). They also have brunch on the weekends. Give them a shot! We will be back soon. Great for gatherings!

Cafe Italia grapevine
505 W Northwest Hwy, GrapevineWhat a wonderful restaurant! The interior is charming, but more importantly for me, the carpet and drapes have a noise deadening effect. Restaurants generally seemed to have lost sight of this. So often the customer is surrounded by flat, hard surfaces and with just a few occupied tables, the sound is deafening. Even with a packed house, this is not the case here, and I think it's great.
Our attentive waiter was Italian, so points for authenticity. He was friendly, and service was without any issue.
The fresh bread they brought us was an excellent first impression. It came with real butter, and the butter was already thawed to room temperature. I learned this service tip long ago. Trying to spread hard butter on soft bread is just not going to go well. Letting the butter quiescently soften means the staff is planning ahead for the guest experience. Someone is paying attention.
Overall, excited to have found this place. It made for a great date night.
Reservations are recommended for peak times.
Note:
There is another Cafe Italia in Grapevine. I tried poking around, but no one seems to acknowledge that there are two restaurants in close proximity with the same name. They appear to be independent from each other, but I cant tell. Some of the photos look very close, but maybe reviewers are also mixing up the locations. I have only been to this one of the two, so I don't have further insight.

1200 William D Tate Ave, GrapevineWent for a friends dinner. We were able to get a same date last minute reservation. Our food a little delayed due to several large Christmas parties. Our server was friendly and tried to get everything out to us as fast as possible. I had the lasagna and it was one of the best lasagnas I ever had. Would recommend and go back again.
