“Post 58 is great for veterans and their families to enjoy great comradery, and food, and support our veteran community. The post has new blood in its leadership and is looking to change its focus to engaging more with Fort Bliss and other veteran organizations.”

“Casas is a fantastic ministry doing great work for "the least of these" in multiple countries. Fulfilling the most basic of needs for those who have no means to help themselves and opening the door for local pastors and churches to minister to entire communities.”

“I've always loved art and went to an opening as a family friend had some pieces showing. There's always something interesting, covering a wide range of styles, tastes, and price ranges. I found several pieces that I wanted, and ended up buying 7 of them. They were some fun sketches by a local artist. The lady that runs the gallery is absolutely fabulous, very personable, and fun to talk to. The hours are a bit tight, but that's the only negative in my opinion.”

“We loved this place while living in El Paso. If you homeschool then you have a lot of resources to choose from and the kids have plenty books to choose from. Stop by and check this place out.”

“What is the expectation of a bookstore? That it contains an endless plethora of books? That it contains your favorite titles, and some you’ve never heard before? If that is the case, then look no further as this bookstore has everything except a coffee shop and A/C. There are almost endless piles of books beautifully strewn about allowing your eyes to wander about and find something to spark your interest. The books sold are second hand, and of course why wouldn’t you buy a secondhand book-at secondhand prices- after all? The staff are pleasantly kind, helpful, and are all very well read. If you don’t find a book here, you can request a phone call when a copy is brought to the store. All in all, you cannot go wrong with stopping by here if you have a subject you're interested in or are just looking for a new, or old, book to read.”

“Went last weekend to the Concordia tour. The history was very interesting. Only thing I would’ve loved would’ve been if we would’ve gotten a bit of time to explore. Not like having all of us roam far apart but just some time to take it all in. But def will attend another of their tours !”

“Always love going to visit this place. Prices are going up, but what isn't? Brand new items can be found for what you need if you can be patient and wait. I truly enjoy going and finding treasures!”

“Upon calling, I was told that they offered financial assistance. I was not asked if my husband had retired. I was very upfront about him being a Disabled Veteran and deceased. Upon arriving, I was told that I could receive assistance only if my husband had retired. My husband was honorably discharged because he became ill while serving.I am a widow because of the military. I do not understand why there would not be assistance for surviving spouses regardless of being retired or just a DAV.There needs to be better communication within the department.Project Bravo is horrible. That's who I was referred to. Thank you.”

“I absolutely love the zoo. I had forgotten (sort of), and the pandemic was a big part of that, but typically I'm even a Zoological Society Member! I just love animals. Big ones. Crafty ones. Small ones. Unique ones. Friendly ones. Ones to be feared and respected. I love animals. The El Paso zoo is not too bad (considering we live in a literal desert). They definitely have some beautiful big cats. Some elephants. Giraffes. Wolves. And, they are actually expanding! Yup, you're EP ZOO is getting bigger and will have newer and upgraded event spaces and animal sanctuaries. Hey do have food on site. Nothing special, but enough to snack on. Drinks stations and ice creams stands are littered throughout... El Paso gets HOT, so it's needed. It's very affordable - $9 per ticket with military ID, or $12 without. Go see! Go support! And go find out the mystery of the dang prairie dogs”

“Great place to work out and clean. It has never been packed either so that is a plus. When I used the showers though, there wasn't any hot water. No changing station in the men's locker room.”

“Very nice place. I was there for the incident involving the lady and her teen son. (I wasn’t involved, just observing) and they handled everything perfectly... this lady and her son were being disrespectful and causing trouble all over the store.. we were all glad how this was handled.”

“This is not a bad review of bbb. They are great. This is about another place the deserves no stars. So the 5 stars I gave is for the bbbOn 12/12/23 at 6:01pm I went to dollar tree at 8041 n mesa. I bought a creamy peanut butter with honey. A small container that has a yellow top. went home and I opened the peanut butter. Took the seal off. Checked it. It looked good but when I took some small spoonfuls and had a little of the peanut butter then I looked again because I saw a slimy dark green substance. I got my my magnifier looked close and I also saw white spots that looked like larva. White spots and I could not tell if they were moving or not. It tasted gross and funny. Someone could get sick. The day of expiration/best buy of is 10/24 so it should be good but had what looks to be larva . So it has the white specks/spots, green slimy substance and lots of black spots/specks. I will never shop at dollar tree or any of its partners/brother/sister companies. I won't buy GREENBRIER INTERNATIONALInc food items. They are at fault. Dont shop unless you want to get sick. Chocolate bars are contaminated”

“After having been in immigration detention, and going through another shelter that seemed like another prison, thank God I got there, unlike the other comments.... I felt accompanied in my process.... While I had the transfer to another city, in the USA.They were kind to my daughter and me and provided us with the necessary care for our stay. The truth is that I felt very familiar and concerned about our situation. I am grateful to God and life for each and every one of the people who work there. May God reward you greatly! I was in December 2022 and spent there from the 10th to the 20th. Blessings always!”

“Plenty of exercise equipment, showers, lockers. My wife loves the swimming pool area. My only concern is the basketball court, needs some work done. Dead and uneven spots on the court . One of the rims has a broken link for the net.”
