“Our office frequents trips to Dallas for business, and we always stay at the Gaston! It has become our home away from home. They are always accommodating and hospitable as we often arrive late or leave bright and early. The rooms are clean, comfortable and thoughtful in design and amenities. We would happily hang out in our booked room (the Eastham is our personal favorite), but every part of the house is inviting- the home bar, backyard under the cafe lights, the lounge, you name it. The house is a little treasure in the heart of Dallas. It's within very close proximity to some of our favorite restaurants and neighborhoods! There is not enough we could say about this B&B. We truly feel so taken care of any time we stay here.”

“Aláguese with Valet parking is the outstanding employee of the month. He was friendly, efficient, helpful, and very gracious. Kudos to him and Hyatt for hiring him and giving him the opportunity to advance!”

“This property is fantastic for its hospitality. Every staff member, from Milena who cheerfully checked me in, to Alexia, who wrote me such a kind note, to Amoni, who messaged me the day before to see if I needed anything, showed such genuine kindness and professionalism that sets such a strong standard for the Grand Hyatt brand. This hotel is indeed just steps away from TSA, and I cannot commend this property enough for the service everyone provides to its guests. I would stay here again in a heartbeat when my travels go through DFW.”

“This hotel is a gem. Comfy, spacious, well located with a great and professional team. I was in town for business and the conference hotel was too pricey. I stayed at Zaza and didn't regret it! Water pressure was strong, robe and slippers provided, room was HUGE with a balcony. Will stay again.”

“Angel in the valet was a gem and made our stay first rate. I wish the room decor and fixtures were as nice and welcoming as he was. The gift shop staff and items were great, as was the food and service in the bar area.

Rooms: The north tower room I was assigned was very shabby. The tub was scratched and old. I was surprised to find a very low mounted shower head hanging out of the wall. That coupled with the shower curtain and otyer fixtures/furnishings left a lot to be desired.”

“Excellent hotel with superior service. Rooms are large, comfortable, and clean. Staff is friendly and helpful. Location, next to a major freeway and the Market Center is good, although parking is expensive. There's a very good restaurant on the property, plus a pool and workout facility. The view of downtown Dallas from the pool deck is nice and everything is well maintained.

Safety: The hotel felt secure and the staff were vigilant.”

“Great staff. The minimal space was ok. The only real drawback was the lack of a window or bedside light so the only 2 options were dark or very bright overhead. Location is great for walking downtown in one direction and Deep Ellum in the other.”

“Stayed here for a night when we were going to a show at the Rustic. Perfect location, as it was just a short walk, ~2 blocks. Hotel was very clean and seemed new. Stacey the valet was amazing, very personable and kind. He told us to make sure we checked out the view on the 8th floor. There was a nice rooftop bar/lounge up there. I had breakfast off the main lobby, there was a buffet and a la carte menu. Overall it was a great stay. Would definitely stay there again and would recommend to others needing to stay in that part of town, Uptown/West Village.”

“Our 2nd date night visit to the Lorenzo Hotel. Excellent food quality and creativity. The Chef and staff are top notch. Thankful for hotels like this one that still go above and beyond catering to special requests. Upon entering our room, there was a nice surprise for us consisting of chilled champagne, meat cheese charcuterie board, and assortment of chocolate dipped strawberries. The room was artfully decorated and had a nice large window view of outside. The staff is excellent and very polite catering to any request. Looking forward to coming back to the Lorenzo!

Food and drinks: High quality food. Creative dishes and drinks to compliment.”

“Pretty standard: overall cleanliness and good food. I wished the coffee shop stayed open longer than half a day. And at least a free basic breakfast. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Location is great where I needed to be. The bed needs more cushion but that could be just me. Bought a memory foam from Target. Nothing fancy. For the price, I think there should be more offerings.”

“I stayed here with a friend of mine a couple of weeks ago! Everything was perfect, from the front desk staff, cleaning staff, valet and room service. The pool was nice & the bartender was nice as well. Logan made our stay exceptional being very kind & polite the whole time. I would only recommend that they get some dental kits. LOL. I'd definitely stay here again.”

“Jackie is the most amazing person and went above and beyond for my friend! She was away from the hotel but needed to activate her blood sugar monitor and Jackie stepped up! She went to the room, made sure all the information was correct and got it all sorted out. Thank you, Jackie, for being the most helpful and saving our night!!”

“The WiFi was not the greatest, I had to use a hotspot in order to work. I could hear people walking around in the room above, but it wasn’t overly loud. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean.

Edit: I had some questions about charges on my credit card and Nate was great about explaining the process. This place is lucky to have someone with such great customer service skills. Thanks Nate!!!”

“Rooms and service were great. It’s kinda tough spot downtown to get around in vehicle just due to traffic. Had to wait 15 minutes both times for valet to come to the desk.”

“I love Virgin Hotels. They offer a level of style, sophistication, and uniqueness that’s unmatched by its competitors. Anytime I go to a city that has a Virgin in it, it’s my go to stay!

I’ve been lucky to get really nice greeting gifts - and even vouchers for free drinks - upon my stay at other locations, so that was the expectation upon arrival. I didn’t get anything and was a little disappointed. Otherwise, the rooms was very well designed and spacious, with the best overhead shower you can ask for.

I only wish the bathroom tiles were a bit cleaner, because there were some debris that came up, but otherwise, I would highly recommend and stay again!

Rooms: Spacious and thoughtful”

“I was in Dallas for the first time for the Dallas vs. Eagles game. This hotel is at the top of the list in my favorites! From check- in to check out, my experience was great! The hotel is huge, it's very clean and nicely decorated. It hosts many conventions. My room was very spacious and spotless, housekeeping services the room every day.The hotel also has a bar, sports bar, an open market, and a restaurant, all of which I visited and was happily pleased! They have a great happy hour from 4 to 6 pm every day($6 old fashioned was AMAZING). All of the bartenders at Open Pallete were pleasant and accomdating. Our servers in the sports bar were also great( the wings and nachos were delicious). Lastly, the parlor, it's like a speakeasy type bar/lounge. Very cozy with tvs, books, and even an atari video game. My friends and I participated in the mixology class they host on site, and we made a fall french 77! It was so good! Brice and Jonas were great hosts. I can't wait to visit again! I highly recommend it!

Rooms: The room was spacious and very clean, beds were comfortable.

Food and drinks: The food and drinks on site was GREAT!

Noteworthy details: Great location in the downtown area, and the staff were awesome, making sure we were enjoying our stay!!”

“We had booked adjoining rooms for a girls trip several months ago for a two night stay and when we checked in, the hotel couldn’t accommodate it. We were disappointed and dealt with it for the first night and asked the front desk staff to help us for the second night. The front desk wasn’t very helpful but thankfully we ultimately got connected with a manager Kim who was willing to make the adjustment. Kim’s kindness saved the experience for us.”

“I was there only one night. Either I missed it or it wasn't in the instructions of how the Resort works. I was meeting a friend at the resort and was told about the 3 sets of codes that I had to remember to get in. Because my friend went through the procedure and informed me, it was easy. Reminder to self...read the instructions. The rooms were elegant..my room was Paris and it seemed like I was in a European style room. Wonderful experience..would highly recommend the stay..esp if you are going to the zoo..”

“For the price, this is a fantastic hotel. Super clean and comfortable. Lots to do. Great location. Great staff. Alex in the bars and Lola in the coffee shop - give them raises - because they are great ambassadors for this establishment. Would highly recommend if you are planning to stay in downtown.”

“Was here on a school trip during the VEX Robotics Championship Competition. Many school groups were there but the hotel made sure quiet hours were observed. I was able to sleep soundly in my room - A++++++ on that front for me!!!Breakfast was served promptly at 6am and there was plenty of food despite the amount of hungry young kids. There's coffee and hot tea 24/7.My room was very clean, no smell or funky odor anywhere around the hotel. Overall an excellent experience at this hotel and would stay here again.Keep up the great work!!!”

“Bed was clean and comfortable. Room never got cold enough, maybe the AC needs cleaning. It ran all night without getting below 68. I really wish they would look at your preferences when giving out rooms. I asked for top floor away from elevator. I did not get either and the hotel was not close to full. It was one night so I did not ask to move. Breakfast was very lacking. It had about half of the items I normally see at a Fairfield. Location was great.”

“We stopped here on the way home from Galveston to take our kids to Medieval Times. While our stay was brief, we were impressed with the cleanliness of the property and friendliness of the staff. Everyone we interacted with was incredibly friendly. Our kids wanted to swim in the indoor pool, and that was also very clean (both pool and room).Breakfast was good (standard Holiday Inn Express offering), and the hostess who was refilling items was very sweet and accommodating.Rooms: The room was spotless and the beds were comfortable. AC worked well. No issues at all.I always forget about the Dove products provided in the bathroom — nice to not have to unpack all of your shampoo, soap, etc.Safety: Property felt safe. You have to be buzzed in to the front door upon initial arrival, and you use your room key for access thereafter.”

“Tried to use a discount for the room. Front desk person couldn't understand that it was on their site and didn't get it.

Rooms: Decent and well kept.

Safety: Need to use key card to enter room.

Food and drinks: 1 or 2 fast food restaurants in walking distance.”

“We had an excellent stay here. Christopher Anderson, the manager, is very kind and allowed our family to watch the Chiefs game in the lobby while eating delivered BBQ! Miss Gwen made sure the breakfast was perfect! She is so caring and wants everyone to enjoy their stay. Ashley at the front desk is so personable and friendly and helps you start your day on a positive note. We recommend this to anyone visiting the area.”
