“Super pleasant experience with these guys. They had a nice bolt-action Savage rifle in stock that I was interested in, and I was able to work out a very fair deal on it. I also dropped off another rifle to have them install a custom-made-to-fit recoil pad on it. “CFP crafted a set of walnut square butt XL target grips for my 3" Ruger SP101 357 Magnum. Not only are they exceptionally well made and fit dead-on out of the box, but they are - far and away - the most comfortable, best shooting grips I've had on the gun. I've tried numerous alt grips (Hogue, Pachmayer) as well as the Ruger stock grips, and none felt great in my hand; the CFP's hit the feel-and-function sweet spot instantly. They gave me a high & natural-feeling grip on the gun, afforded a perfect reach to the trigger, offered fantastic support hand position/grip, and allow for very comfortable "thumb stacking" with zero interference with my trigger finger while firing.Firing 38Spl is effortless; even hot 357 loads offer very little sting; the high and ample grip these offer make muzzle flip a non-issue, allowing for much faster follow-up shots. And they look fantastic, too; the wood has very nice grain, and fit & finish is absolutely top notch. No sanding, shimming, or other "home gunsmithing" was required to achieve a perfect fit to my gun.I couldn't be happier with both the product and support/communication from CFP; I'll absolutely be returning as a customer.”
