“People here were great, customer assistance amazing and prices were great. They keep moving stuff around the store though, that is annoying trying to figure out where and why they moved our favorite items and stopped carrying others...”
“I love this store! We don’t have an Aldi in the town I live in so every time we come to Abilene, I do a stock up trip to Aldi. Great prices, great quality, great selection, great customer service, clean store, it’s just great.”
“Not my first pick for grocery store because other stores are way cheaper but love to come here to run in and grab an item or two. Mostly for the closeness and convenience.”
“I went there to shop vitamins for my family. The store has variety of selections to choose from different brands, and many items were on sales up to 30% of the sticker price. All items were well organized by brands so it was easy to shop. I also saw people doing a small grocery shopping.”

“My husband got me this gorgeous bag from here for my birthday. It's so insanely cute! I love it so much; I didn't think they would have items like this here. But now I have to go back and snoop around for more ?”
“Great place for a small town grocery store. The meat selection could be a bit better, but ya work woth what you get. The workers are always helpful and respectful as well.”
“I love this store and gas station. Friendly staff, helpful. They take the groceries out of your basket to ring them up, then someone carries them to your car. Very clean store, even the bathrooms are clean. And helpful if you have a question. They care about their customers, us.”

“Small gas station, offers regular and diesel fuel. The parking lot does have enter/exit on opposite sides, so if you have a truck and a (small) trailer then it is possible to pull in and pull right on out, so that’s a little convenient. In general, the parking lot is quite small and cramped. Pay at the pump does not usually work, so if you’re in a hurry, you do probably have to go inside to pay. Employees are usually friendly. Not a bad stop in a pinch.”
“Grateful & appreciative to be a veteran with access to base exchanges & commissaries worldwide. They keep me attached to the military community. They help me save money. Once, one of their employees found my dropped wallet in the parking lot and had it secured for me until I realized I lost it there. Nothing was missing and everything was intact. I truly appreciate that from the bottom of my heart. I’m not sure if I would have had the same outcome had I dropped it in a grocery store parking lot of base. I’m not sure who turned it in, but I’d like for the person who monitors the commissary reviews at the store, to tell this person that they are an amazing human being for picking up and securing my wallet. Not even sure if they still work there. I’m grateful for the management/employees who keep them running for the military & veteran families.

“There is only 2 handicap parking spots in front of this store and the other parking is down the steps, its rather odd how they built the store, it seems like the land was not used right”
“This location is usually one of the cleanest one in town but I think they were having an off week. I came in and it was very crowded. Lots of empty shelves and such. They were stocking but it made it hard to walk in the aisles. I only saw one person working at this time and she was slammed. I assume because of supplier issues which is why the shelves were low. Like I said, they usually are leading in everything. I definitely recommend checking them out and seeing what they have to offer. They did have all of their or at least majority of their sales/last chance signs. Most of Abilene did not have those up and haven't been keeping up with it.”
“I go into Dollar General almost every single day. They are polite and almost always have what I need. Ms. Jennifer is especially helpful. Each time I go inside I am politely greeted with courtesy and a smile. I've never had to look for a sales assistant at the front counter either!”
“They are always super friendly and helpful when I go to pick up medications. Their pharmacist Ryan is always willing to take the time to answer questions and make sure everything is OK.”
“Have always loved 7-11 stores and visited them quite a bit when living in Oregon, but now we are living in Texas and finding that I can not only visit my favorite 7-11's but I can also get my gas for my vehicles.Win win baby.”
“This Walmart location is large and clean. Has a lot of variety. Parking situation is what you would expect for Walmart ? check out is a lot easier at this location. They have a lot more options for self check and always have several registers open if you prefer to let someone else check you out. Their bakery-produce area is bigger at this location than the ones I've seen in Oklahoma. The produce is always fresh. The staff is usually pretty helpful. There was one lady at the money center that was a little, I don't know, snippety? I really don't know how to describe it but that was just one lady. The other staff I've interacted with were more than happy to help with any inquiries I had.”
“Despite the condition of the store the employees were hard at work and very kind. Great employees but I hope the management can get them so extra hands in there. This is sad.”

“Figure out the timing of their rush hours; to your usual time of going to pick up meds. Plan ahead during those hours. They're great but rush hour is what it is minus the rush, anywhere.”
“Super friendly with all your basic needs.Fresh cut steaks; produce; cokes in glass bottles; salads, breakfast burritos. Also gasoline.A Buffalo Gap icon for many many years!”
