“Aye check it out I had a tire issue i stopped in to get it checked out and let me tell you not only did they solve my issue but hey my guy Eric one of the techs there took real good care of my trailer it was well worth stopping in I thought I just simply had a low tire but man I had a few issues wrong here with several tires this guy took his time doing a full inspection of all my tires and educating me on things I actually hadn’t known but yeah Eric I appreciate you my guy this shop is one for the books make it a destination to stop by for all your repairs and needs Kim has an excellent service team here the guy Jason he’s another one really good with the computer diag but yeah man they are good people with solid values for what they do here they actually love their job aye again man I’m not sure if he’ll see this but Eric I appreciate you man you guys rock. 10/4 radio hammer down and watch the bandits eyy”

“This is way overdue, but necessary. When my wife and I needed to relocate, unfortunately, out of Texas, I called the owner here about getting a reliable truck and trailer. I informed him of an old experience, not at all related to this establishment, where we received an old truck and trailer that ended up not even being compatible with one another. I asked if there was any way to get a truck and trailer that would be reliable for our 2500-mile trek. His response was to check my reservation and personally go and check his inventory and hold the best truck and trailer. He was kind, professional, and very helpful the day we picked up. “We had a problem with coolant leaking in odd places and down stream each time we had the truck fixed. We had our truck towed to Volvo Vanguard Katy and they had the truck diagnosed rather quickly within 36 hours and we are thankful. It was diagnosed at injector failure that let diesel into the coolant system when the diesel fuel eroded the rubber gaskets.
We had the NTP warranty and had a great relationship with the adjuster. On Friday at 3pm the approval came in and we were told to come pickup our truck and The truck should have been released. However there was a discrepancy of -$200.00 due to the injector kit core and a rate differential being off from Volvo/Parts and Josh the service advisor. When we arrived to pay our portion of the truck the service advisor took our CC payment and then found out through NTP that the numbers were off. NTP would not pay out even though it was a negative. I don't blame NTP as they had everything approved as was sent in by Volvo Vanguard. Everyone knew that they would pay out however VOLVO Vanguard Katy would not release my truck, even after my CC payment, after all the paperwork was completed and they knew the truck had to be released because I was begging them to do so days earlier. Josh called David the manager and he stated it was company policy not to release truck without full payment. The truck sat at the shop all weekend and I missed 3 loads at a rate of $4500.00 total. Monday morning the truck was released after the adjuster came in and fixed the paperwork that Volvo should have had right in the first place. I am out $4500.00 and scrapping pennies together to make ends meet because of a clerical error that VOLVO Vanguard Katy should have caught and that they should have released the truck knowing that it was covered through a company that Volvo Vanguard does work with often.
While their mechanic work is awesome there clerical work and Volvo Vanguards policies are off and at the detriment of the Owner operator. For this I CANNOT give a 5 star rating and really went back and forth on weather they deserved a 3 star due to the selfish act of holding a truck they knew was going to be paid in full and was a clerical error on their part.
The truck has been on the road for 48 hours and is work and driving amazing. I thank the mechanic for his hard work and diligence.”
