“Such a great hotel. Super clean, comfortable beds, and modern. The employees are so nice and helpful! The pool is amazing and the kids enjoyed the giant outdoor chess game. Will definitely recommend and return again!”
“Ty was incredibly personable and made our family feel right at home!! She went above and beyond to make our children happy. And we would stay again at the Spring Hill Suites!! Thank you Ty for making our experience at this hotel in Waco so enjoyable!”
“We were in Waco for a conference and this was our first time staying at a Tru. It pretty much was exactly what we expected: a modern, trying to be "hip," hotel that will look vastly outdated within the next 5 years. It was clean, the front desk staff was friendly (the breakfast area staff did not engage with customers virtually at all on Friday or Saturday mornings), and the rooms were sufficient, though small. That was actually surprising. The decor and size of the room made it feel more like a dorm room, to include the funky clothes-hanging racks over the microwave and posts on the wall (no closet). We can make do with whatever for a couple of nights, but for the price paid the room was too small compared to competitors.Additionally, the bathroom sink soap/lotion setup is the dumbest we have seen in any hotel (I should have taken a picture). They had two squeeze bottles that dispensed hand soap or lotion mounted on the wall to the right of the sink. They were challenging to squeeze (especially if you had an elderly customer), mounted in an awkward location, and totally invite germs via the fact that you have to squeeze soap out BEFORE you can wash your hands. I doubt the staff disinfects these bottles between customers. I'm not a germaphobe, but that just doesn't make sense for a system that serves rotating customers. This initiative did not get thought through...Bottom line is the hotel was okay, but we will not stay in one again when so many other (better) options are available for same or better pricing.”

2700 La Salle Ave, Waco“The rooms were clean. We were given a fair price without reservations. (Probably would have been given an even better price had we had reservations.) They offer breakfast in the morning, but they are also across the round-about from Magnolia Table. Our boys really enjoyed the pool! I really liked that there was a single brew coffee/tea maker in the room with single pod coffee and tea creamers and sweetners. Very thoughtful!”

1801 N Development Blvd, Waco“We arrived on a Friday and were quickly checked in. We asked how best to get to Magnolia Market and given easy directions. We spent a few hours and headed back to eat at hotel restaurant. The restaurant had light music playing. The booth had a monitor playing Mash rerun? A few other couples eating. Phillip was prompt at getting us menu and waiting for our drink order. My husband ordered a Manhattan with up grade Makers Mark and I, Red Blend house wine. He came back as no Maker Mark nor Red Blend wine. My husband chose another brand and they only had Pinot noir or Cabernet. Phillip made drink and brought wine. We both ordered sliders from the appetizer area. Not real hungry. The buns were over toasted as well as meat to grilled. Really did not enjoy our meal. Phillip attentive. This is why 4 starWe went to the Jacuzzi and it was very enjoyable. Our room large, clean and well lit. The beds very comfortable. Morning came and I found no hair dryer. Called down and one was brought up.The parking lot is well lit and plenty of parking.”

Can't say enough about the hospitality. Due to traveling for appointments, we had to change the dates a few times - they were very accommodating!
Fabulous breakfasts. (Available 3 hours every morning starting at 6 am on weekdays and later on weekends) Huge assortment. Everyday - Texas size Waffles (& Shaped), cereals, fruit, bread and bagels (cream cheese) for toasting, oats, grits, yogurt assortment, milk, 3 juices, condiments of butter, jellies...) 3 rotating specials - Biscuits with gravy; Scrambled eggs with side of potatoes; and Mini Omelets (a meat side with each) -The only thing I would request would be some omelets made without cheese - for the lactose intolerant and those who don't like cheese (Not Me). My favorite was the cheese with peppers!!! Yum!
Coffee, of varying strengths, and tea available 24/7.
Rooms: Very comfortable rooms, beds and pillows were cushy with nice soft sheets. Plenty of those wonderful pillows - 4!! They could use with extra blankets - we got the last one our first night.
Well maintained. Quiet, even though we were very close to the front. Nice cold refrigerator.
I do wish they had an updated Entertainment/TV program like at other BWs. There is no way to watch your own Netflix, etc. No Menu of what's coming on. You literally have to surf the channels to find out. When you have someone who is bedridden, it makes it difficult. Good wifi though. But limited viewing.”

4259 I-35, Waco“I was very pleased with my room. The heat and humidity of Waco had my little A/C working over time, but it held on! The breakfast was good with a lot of selections. It was also at a good location to jump onto I-35, and it's next door to a Starbucks if you need more options. However, I was satisfied with the hotel breakfast and coffee.”

“If I can give this hotel no stars then I would. I must say that this place is horrible. Let me tell you why.First room there were ants everywhere.Easy room switch.Second room the toilet was disgusting. As I went to the lobby to speak to the manager, he simply said when I see the room service to inform them to clean the toilet. Lol. Which why wasn’t that being done the first place. Many ppl butts sits on it so forth. He ends up coming to the room with room keeping and show her the toilet.Let me tell you how she cleaned it: she sprayed on the wrath and just did a swoop and still the bottom toilet was gross. When we needed more towels and toilet paper we had to go fetch it ourselves.HORRIBLE PLACEWe were to be staying there for two weeks and decided to leave to a better place.I know when we want to save a buck we all attend to go to the cheaper price. If you are staying at a hotel more than two days then that additional price is worth paying.YOU GET WHAT YOU PAID FOR, for sure.Don’t waste your time and money at this ratchet dirty place.Oh yeah and our sheets had holes. Lol.SMH.Rooms: Grossssssss. Very dirty and not cleaned well”

705 I-35, Waco“I felt safe, needed a place for a few weeks waiting for my apartment to be ready for move in. It is not expensive, and all the problems I see listed on here I have not experienced, no bugs, nothing. I’m of the opinion that the people who have had a problem with the place brought the problem with them, existentially speaking. The one gripe I did have was with the humidity in the room. The salt in my salt shaker stuck together. It’s a temporary stop between where you were and where you’re going, it’s run just fine. Toughen up, it’s a roof over your head and the A/C works.”
“My dad stayed here. The staff was very nice & helpful. I met them& the manager when I went to visit him.
Noteworthy details: It is wheelchair accessible & friendly.”
