Hands down, Dr. Gaertner is the best doctor that I have had. I have never felt rushed and feel that the staff at West Hills genuinely cares for the health of each patient.

I had a first-time annual physical visit with Dr. Scott Gaertner. During the visit, he asked me if I'm taking any medication. I told him "yes, I'm taking Claritin because I have seasonal allergy due to oak pollen". He asked me if I need any prescription. I said "it's fine, I've been like this for many years, and Claritin works for me."A couple of weeks later, I received a surprising bill of 3-digit amount. I called their billing department and office manager. They told me it's because I discussed my allergy issue with the doctor, and it's considered outside the annual physical. It makes absolutely no sense to me because I was literally answering the doctor's questions! He didn't diagnose anything, nor do I need any.I also checked the notes of my visit. It says something like patient is taking Claritin with minimal improvement and wants to discuss prescription options. This is a fraudulent statement. They literally lied for extra charges. I've been doing annual physical while having allergy issues for many years. I was never even able to imagine those decent people would do shady business like this. Totally beyond my understanding. Surprisingly ridiculous.I've spent hours calling their billing department, talking with my insurance company, filing appeals, and even consulting with lawyers. No matter what the outcome is, this is very very frustrating. My family and I will never go to Baylor Scott & White again. I will also advise all my friends to avoid Baylor Scott & White.

First of all, let me start by saying that Dr. Fagerberg seemed like a good person. I went in to establish with her as a new patient as we had just moved. She seemed nice and caring and empathetic...until I got a bill from them saying that my new patient visit was considered a specialty visit and was charged a few hundred dollars more as a result. No one had told me before or during the visit that this would be a specialty visit and when I initially called them, they had mentioned to me a $20 co-pay. After receiving the bill, when I called their clinic, the doctor had put down that she had done a physical, which she didn't; she also mentioned that we discussed high blood pressure, which I don't have. Maybe some wires got crossed up and she confused me with another patient. But at the end of the day, I just paid the bill and called it a day. We have used BSW for several years, but after this experience we will likely never use BSW again for the remainder of our lives! I figured given the experience I have had, I should warn those who may be looking for a new doctor against using her and her clinic.

So I had appointment on March 12th for my 75 old mother which she hardly can walk ..After receiving couple of messages on March 9 from this office and confirming my appointment , and taking day off from my job for this appointment and diving to this doctor's office , i only find out our appointment has been canceled. The office manager tried telling me the appointment has been canceled and they have contact me and left a message I didn't received any message or any text messages from their office. she would not tell me what was the reason for cancellation and would not let me talk or explain myself, she cut me off in every sentence. I thought office manager being very racist and disrespectful of me and my mom. Why would I show up in doctor's office take off from my day job and just find out that our appointment has been canceled , these people are not professional, or know how to run an office , for someone that works in office she should know why the appointment was canceled and she had no idea except hand me a phone number to customer service. I would never use this doctor for any reason even if I am dying so you might want to check your appointment couple of times before you see this doctor otherwise you going to miss the whole day of work for nothing . I think my race was playing a role in this whole situation

I've been seeing Dr Fagerberg for several years now and absolutely love her. She always takes the time to discuss all concerns with me, and I never feel rushed or like I'm just a number. She understands that I try to take a conservative approach to my health and that I don't like to take medications unless absolutely necessary, so I never feel pressured to have any tests or try any medications that I don't feel are necessary. If I do have concerns and want to investigate them further, she never hesitates to help guide me. I've lived in 3 states and she is by far the best GP I've had.

Worst clinic / staff I have ever encountered. I have never written a review for any establishment before in my life, but I had to with this location. Absolutely absurd and insane how staff is organized - not a single honest person who works here. STRONGLY ADVISE ELSEWHERE

I love dr Gaeatner but they need to up their phone support ...EVERY time I call in to make an appointment or call for anything the hold time is 15-25 min every time. Such a great doctors office that gets a bad rep because of the poor response time which is the first impression for a doctors office. The screenshot of my hold time was the hold before any one even answered so no human contact yet and I gave up and hung up because it was way too long to be on hold ...so no contact with anyone yet .....

For some reason I have sat on my hands for a few years since I had a less than desirable experience here 3 years ago as a new patient consult. My primary GP no longer accepted insurance, so I found this practice near my home and scheduled an appointment with Dr. Faegerberg. I brought in my records from my former GP and the integrative Harvard trained doctor I see in Westlake. Dr F has a rather cold demeanor and scoffed at me in a very condescending manner when she heard I see my integrative medicine doctor. Basically stating that the vitamins and alternative supplements I take are rubbish. So she insulted me from the onset and worsened my experience when she questioned me about an anti anxiety med I take very infrequently. I was prescribed a medication to take in the unfortunate circumstances when I suffer extreme anxiety- a condition I've dealt with most of my life. She said she would refill my prescription but not to call her "In case I lost it or someone accidentally stole it". Excuse me?? I refill this med about once every three years. She blatantly accused me of being a pill popper and I left incredibly hurt and insulted. Luckily I found my former GP and decided to pay out of pocket for someone who truly cares about my health and well being and doesn't treat me like a low life because I suffer occasional anxiety as a result of PTSD and a very stressful career. One star for the fact she studied hard and another for the location. I prefer to travel 30 miles round trip to see a caring practitioner who doesn't insult me and treats me as a human who deserves respect.

Dr Gaertner is great. This review is not about him. It is about Baylor SW. now dealing with this office is like dealing with ATT or some other horrible institution. BSW buying this practice has been terrible.
