“JC Pennys at Victory Lakes is impressive. Its better stocked with everything than Baybrook. Ill definitely be returning. Also Sales staff was everywhere. They actually greeted me as i passed them by.”

Wife and I were planning on getting my son a Nintendo Switch but realized there was not any close to where we lived, but found locally a few in stock at this Target. We wanted to surprise my son and I asked Henry if he would be so graciously able to come down the aisle and present it to him as a surprise. Henry was fantastic and agreed to help and make my son’s day even better! Target, please understand what heartfelt employees you have working for you like Henry! “I called to check if they had a bag in stock that my girlfriend wanted and the lady that answered the phone, I think her name was Micah? She was very sweet, tone was super enthusiastic, very helpful as well. They ended up having THREE of the bags I was looking for, I called about fifteen other stores and none of them had a single one. So they carry some good finds on top of the pleasant experience I had with Micah. Will definitely come back here for more deals in the future!”

It’s got all we would need without having to run to Walmart or even order off of Amazon. It’s close to home and we know where everything is. It is stocked with great varieties of food and great employees. The prices as a member are tremendous as it helps us save so much each week. Favorite: the coupons they mail to you on the things you buy!”

“I just wanted to say Thank You to Dai Dai Johnson at the Family Dollar on 9th across from FoodAuroma. That Employee went above and beyond for me as a Family Dollar customer and I was so grateful that Dai Dai helped me load my cash app for my 14 year old son would be able to buy a game pass for Rainbow 6 siege at midnight with the new season. I pulled up at 959 and he didn't shut the door on me , that Wonderful Young man was very kind and patient with a last minute customer. Here in Texas City you really don't find employees that are so much about the customer but at That family dollar they know who to hire because I have never been so impressed with the Mannerisms of Dai Dai and the other young man that was closes the store on Monday 6/9/2025. “It's pretty much like every other Walmart. Pretty well-stocked, or you can order it. Clothing/tools/groceries/electronics/pets/sporting goods/health&beauty/pharmacy. Well-staffed. Good service at the pharmacy and at customer assistance. Tire/battery team - excellent! Good curbside pickup staffers - fast, friendly, and accurate - give them a tip whenever you can, they work hard and go the extra mile!”
“Moderately bussing store. Great selection, workers are questionable. A lot of the staff are very helpful and friendly, and will go out of their way to help you! However, a small portion of the staff are unhelpful, rude, or unprofessional. The store is moderately clean, most of the time there are no messes. I appreciate the recent remodel, although it seems as if the brand new thinks are already breaking. There is an entirely shattered display shelf, which is quite interesting. In the produce, the bag holders didn't have that little hook to break the bag seal, nor were they in confident spots. The store is moderately ghetto, not a lot though. Store has great potential, Walmart is a great company. I love how they stock the rubbing alcohol in the pharmacy section, good job! This store is very nice, it can be bougie. Goodbye”

“As I prepare to leave Galveston, for Htown (Baby Apple; please people) I 've become reacquainted with the commercial entities on the mainland. might I say that this Walmart has more of a selection of Wrangler, and Lee Jeans than the Galveston Walmart (bought five pair). The store is cleaner, less chaotic, and generally friendlier. Now, I understand that Galveston has to deal with the beach tourists that treat Galveston in general like a convenience store bathroom, so I'll give it a mulligan. But, I was impressed by the assortment of products and available number as opposed to Galveston's. Galveston could use one of those exclusively grocery Walmarts, but it isn't going to happen. Get another catastrophic hurricane (and its getting near time) and you'd be hard pressed for any corporations to come there, let alone a secondary store.”
