“Went to Wine For The People for the first time last night. It won't be the last. Excellent wines, tasty bites, paired with warm and welcoming employees. Look forward to returning soon. Cheers!”
“One of the best places in Austin! Visited from out of town from Kansas City and purchased A LOT and Raj still hooked it up. Nicest person you could meet! I have a pretty rad candle to mail him as I forget they are closed on Sundays.”
“I stopped in today because of the really good reviews I've read, and I have to say, it was worth it.
Great store picks, good high-end juice at reasonable prices, and the folks working were very helpful. I didn't stop in for high end stouts, but when I asked about it the manager brought out a box of really nice choices at prices that left me no choice but to grab a bunch of them.
? worth stopping by.”
“Going to start exclusively shopping here for liquor. Can’t speak highly enough about the selection and service I’ve received here. 11/10 experience.
Even though it’s a 40 minute drive to here from north of Austin, it’s completely worth it. First off, they have an amazing selection of agave spirits, including tequila, mezcal, and raicilla. They have an even larger selection of whiskey/bourbon.
And the bottles they carry are not just your big name brands like the chain liquor stores have - they have lots of the quality, small batch and hard to find bottles. The most respectable aspect is that they do not price gouge like other stores will. If they have a rare or popular bottle, they sell it at the MSRP price. Thats hard to come by these days.
And if you’re on the hunt for something in particular, just ask them! They’ve been exceptionally helpful! 3 times now I’ve asked them about particular, limited release bottles and all 3 times they’ve had them at their warehouse. They will usually retrieve them and have it reserved behind the counter for me that same day or the next at latest. They get 6/5 stars from me. Love this place.”

Talked to one of the guys that works there and they are going to add to the displays and change them around. Definitely will go back. They also have arcade games that are free to play and a toy store area.”
“Best liquor store in North Austin! The owner Daven baught the place a couple of years ago and brought in some very fine Whiskey Scotch Wine Beer and everything else. Super friendly place with a fantastic selection.”
“We recently attended a convention in Austin - South Lamar Manager William and Staffer Miles were incredibly helpful with our huge order before we arrived, during and after the convention. They were helped with its delivery to our hotel and with the return of unopened items. Their service and hospitality were professional, friendly and top-notch. When we visit Austin again South Lamar Liquor will surely be one of our stops!”
“Love the snack and drink selection here! I finally tried their Indian food. I got the kofta korma w lamb and it's VERY GOOD. I don't love that it's so much rice and not as much of the korma but most places do that. Wish they were a bit friendlier but whatever, not the biggest deal. YUM”
“I start most days stopping by the mosaic market on my way to work. And I’ve grown to know the staff fairly well over the past couple years. Tiru and BJ are always very kind and helpful. It’s become a very positive part of my day!!”

“This is a great little independent liquor store. They have a nice variety and selection of mixtures, wines, and spirits, as well as beer. If there is something that you were looking for that, they do not have in stock they will happily order it for you. If you get them the information about what it is you’re looking for. They also sell cigarettes and lotto scratchers, making them a convenient one stop shop for all of your vices.?.”
“Stopped in from out of town and met the owner and super nice and they have the hard to find bottles and their SP’s are amazing! Their ER SP is so smooth it’s unbelievable. A must stop!”
“Don't let the store size fool you. Their whiskey lineup exceeds expectations; they offer more selections than Specs.
Owner was very accommodating and went above and beyond with immediate assistance and service.”
“4June2024 Scott, lady with blonde hair with purple on the end of her ponytail, and Brian thank you for making my first time in this establishment.
I stopped in today, during my 2nd visit to Austin in 3yrs and the shopping experience was wonderful, friendly, and welcoming. I purchased a few things after I walked the entire store.
This spot was recommended by a local. This spot has all types of wines, beers, champagne, and more. Stop in you’ll be glad you did.”
“Cute market with an upscale high quality selection of goods. The prices are higher than a grocery store or pharmacy. They have a deli with salads and pastries as well as a coffee bar.”
“For any brides and grooms looking for wedding alcohol, this is the place especially for any Austin weddings! The staff here is so knowledgeable especially Adam! Come in and do a whole consultation and trust me you won't be disappointed and your guests are going to have an AMAZING TIME! We bought all of our alcohol for our 2 open bars for my husband and I's wedding and because of Adam and Robert this process was THE EASIEST and the least stressful experience!! Thank you Adam for everything! And Robert for ensuring everything was ready to go for us!”
“Subash is great and personable. Already Knows what I want when I walk through the door lol. Highly Recommend this convenience store.
They have quite large collection of wine here too, 5 stars!”
“What has impressed me the most is the friendliness of this liquor store and market! They have local artisan gifts, cute displays, delicious local cheeses and sandwich deli options. I try to make it weekly here for the fig, bacon and goat cheese, made by Jenna. The packaged goat & sheep cheese is also pretty good. So many wine choices in this shop. I highly recommend stopping by and checking them out.”

When I called and explained my situation, they gladly replaced the bottle! I was really worried I would be screwed. Great service!”
