“Olga was recommended to me for my bridal alterations and I'm so glad I chose her - I couldn't have been happier with the​ finished result! My gown was customized and initially fit awkwardly in some areas, requiring a lot of surgical tweaks. This made me nervous, but Olga put my worries to rest right away - her swift and expert assessment at each fitting assured me it was no big deal. She worked her magic and my dress ​turned out perfect. Fit me like a dream​! “I didn't end up buying my dress here, but I found the atmosphere to be calm and beautiful. The big windows in the dressing rooms are lovely and the staff was friendly. I really appreciated how well the consultant was able to use clips or whatnot to make sample dresses fit my body so I was able to visualize what it would look like. After going to 6 different bridal salons, I'm shocked at how some consultants are so good at it and others aren't! My only suggestion would be to increase selection of dresses with straps thicker than spaghetti straps!”

“Nelda's is simply the best and there's a reason they have been around so long! I discovered a defect in the back bodice of my mother of the bride dress less than a week before my daughter's wedding, which gave my dress the appearance that it was either torn or unzipped. This was not exactly the look I was going for when being escorted down the aisle and I was launched into panic mode. I gathered up my dress and rushed to Nelda's where I was met by the sweetest man who not only allayed my fears, but assured me that he could correct the defect in plenty of time for the wedding. When I returned three days later, I was presented with an absolutely perfect dress that was repaired at an extremely reasonable price. What they pulled off was nothing short of magic as they created a lace overlay where previously there was none! I am forever indebted to Nelda's for allowing me to celebrate my daughter's wedding in the dress of my dreams!”

The relaxing environment, personalized appointment, champagne & the level of customer service is unmatched!!! The moment I walked through the door I had a good feeling. Shayna & Scarlett are incredible at what they do! I tried on 5-6 dresses at Blushing Bridge after visiting several other shops being rushed through that left me very confused. At Blushing Bride I began to find clarity & could tell a major difference in the quality of fabric & designers they carry! I did not say yes to the dress on my 1st appointment but I do have a second appointment to find my final pick! “I actually bought my dress from Geri back in 2007. i never forgor my wonderful experience with him I took my niece since shes getting married. Im so thankful for Geri. Running late to our first appointment. We were the last appointment of the day. Coming down from San Antonio traffic was bad due to a car accident. Geri waited for us. When we arrived he had most amazing experience, he was very knowledgeable very attentive to the brides likes and wants. “Beatrice altered my Vera Wang wedding gown for my wedding in the fall of 2014. Over the Course of 6 weeks, Beatrice fit the gown to my body and so much more. We redesigned the dress to fit my taste and shape perfectly. She added great suggestions and if i did not like them there was no obligation. It was a fun process. She did an amazing job in a short period of time.She took in the waist and added boning to the chest to make the corset stand and reshaped the sweetheart neckline. The dress has a tulle overlay so this all needed to be adjusted with each step. She also had to tighten the tulle sleeves without stretching the material. We adjusted the tulle overlay sleeves to be thinner and lay off of the shoulders more.The hemline, which had multiple layers of organza cut in blossom shapes and lines with horsehair, needed to be taken up. And she added a beautiful bustle to the dress to make for an easy transition to the reception. She was able to do this without loosing the design of the dress.The modified mermaid did not shape my body like I desired so she took the hips of the dress in and laid the organza to shape my hips. Since it was not made to lay tightly to the body she did all of this without bringing it too close so that moving would pop any seems or rip the dress. I was able to move and dance all night comfortably without having any problems.The dress came with a white veil which did not matched the ivory dress. Beatrice was able to make the exact same veil in the exact color of the dress. A fingertip length, ivory, tulle veil.She pressed the belt to fold thinner, tacked down tulle everywhere, and added so many small details that she didn't have to. I'm so thankful she put in such effort for my big day. The finished product was great and it looked amazing.”

She was still wanting to look more so we went to a different store but immediately my daughter wanted to go back for the dress. “When I went dress shopping for my quince in 2013 (spring) the woman there was so nice and a committed to helping me find a dress I felt beautiful in. We tried on i think 2 dresses before I asked her if I could try on the dress she had on the display since I had be eyeing it the second we walked in. I thought she'd say it was unavailable due to the obvious display but hey I asked and it ended up being the dress I wore on my big day! I've seen reviews of everyone else's experience with this place so take my information how you will but I definitely enjoyed my time there. I believe she even gave me a small discount for my girls dama dresses since I purchased my dress with her. I don't think I had a single issue with my appointment I went once after I picked up my dress a few months later with another friend to look as well but I don't remember her finding anything she liked but still had the same experience for her.”
