“A few years ago we experienced a long hard freeze that caused major plant and electric supply problems throughout Texas. I had a crepe myrtle that was 8-10 ft tall I was sure was killed by the freeze. Before digging it up I took a chance and discussed the plant with Warren Reid, owner of Coulter Gardens. He patiently explained why he thought it would come back and what I needed to do for the crepe myrtle. I carefully followed Mr. Reid's instructions and the plant came back (without flowers) that summer. No problem as I continued to care for it. The following summer and every summer since it has been its old self. I have been a customer of Coulter Gardens since moving to Amarillo and will continue to shop there.”

“Have never had a bad experience there. We were helped by a gentleman who knew exactly what Isle and location a certain item was that I needed. He just so happen to also be the same gentleman who checked us out. He was so extremely nice, and despite it being cold as balls and checking out people right next to the front door, he was just as pleasant as could be! Sorry I didn't get his name, but he was great!!”

“Very nice store. We went to find some skirting boards for the side of our house and we actually found it. Loads of Halloween decorations and other DIY products. Pretty big store so there will definitely be a thing or two. The staff are nice and there’s plenty of car park space. You can rent a u - haul van to move big items to your home for $29 a hour I’m assuming. Otherwise definitely one of the better home depots in Amarillo.”

“It's Walmart. Enough said, but Yelp requires more words. Walmart has almost always the best prices. Always less than Target. If I buy their own brand items : Great Value is always a great value. Now Yelp is happy.”

“There’s an employee named Magic (Mike), who was absolutely phenomenal. He spent extra time to help teach me about an outdoor faucet I was trying to fix that wasn’t turning off. He was very much a “dad type” but absolutely patient and wonderful explaining it all to me. Never once made me feel d*** or silly for not knowing. He was helpful and kind. The kind of person who obviously wants a customer to succeed in fixing whatever they are trying to do. I wish more employees were more like him.”
