400 TX-35, Alvin“Where do I begin. My wife and I were out of town on vacation and my stepdaughters car got a flat. She has 2 little ones and wasn't able to get out to get it fixed. We got back in town and drove to her place to see what we could do. I got enough air in the tire to drive it to the service department. They close at 7 and I arrived at 7:05. Needless to say everything was closed up. I went in just to see if they had a night drop so I could leave it for the next day. Jesse and Antonio were finishing up and I asked if I could leave the car. They asked what the issue was and I told them. They didn't hesitate at all and said let's bring it in and look at it. I figured it needed a new tire and that was the case. They replaced the tire for me. I went in expecting nothing and received the best service I can recall for a while. I work retail myself so know that customers and associates can definitely be a challenge. Jesse and Antonio are the type of people I look for when hiring. Treat them well and don't let them go.”
“Arrived at Walmart Superstore at six fifty am. Needed a couple of phone battery packs before going to work at eight am so went to the electronics dept. And pressed the button and waited for assistance. Store worker noticed me waiting at seven am and paged over loud speaker for someone to help. At seven ten am no worker had arrived to assist and pressed button next to cash register again to call again. Still waiting and time slipping by. Had one more stop to make after leaving Walmart before I headed to work. Another worker noticed I was still waiting for assistance and paged again for electronics worker who never came while I waited there. I waited until I could wait no more. And had to leave. Had spoken to two more workers walking by. One stated that maybe the worker scheduled to work the dept . called in and apologized because as he put it the Walmart workers are so short staffed the electronics dept worker assigned might be in another department. Wii go back Tomorrow morning and see if I can get my product. Walmart you lost a 60 to 100 dollars sale this morning.”
