“After an AWFUL experience with U-Haul and being passed around to 5 different locations because a “reservation” means nothing to U-Haul, the employee at this location Jordan G was the only one willing to help us at least get a truck for a few hours (we moved over night, lol).
S/O to Jordan G, he’s kind, bright, and helpful, and the only reason I’d maybe consider using U-Haul again.”

“If you’re looking for a local, hassle-free, and service-oriented u-haul rental, look no further. The owner was extremely kind, and helpful. I happened to arrive right as he was heading out to deal with an emergency. Despite this, he was willing to stay and make sure I was all set to go. The after hours drop off was easy too. Just make sure you go to the website and follow the instructions being placing the keys in the drop box. I will definitely be coming back here for any of my rental needs.”
“I would like to start off by saying a HUGE thank you to Jill in the front office! Without getting too specific and wasting characters, I was absolutely blown away by the speed and efficiency of which Jill and her team were able to settle the complex issues concerning my Uhaul truck and trailer rental from the southern border. I brought my wife and my two babies with me to wait in the car outside, needless to say I was not only stressed about my complex situation but I was also in a big time rush. The office area is so cozy and family friendly my stress quickly began to melt as I took pictures of some of the funny signs and posters on the wall for my wife and I to laugh at later(she loved 'em haha). Jill's demeanor perfectly matched her homely and inviting office. Though, most appreciated was her efficiency above all. We laughed and talked and debated, and the whole time her work pace didn't slow a second. Not only was the conclusion quickly reached, but she made the calls and fought the fight for the outcome that I most hoped for. Thank you Jill. 100x's over!”

“Today I had a reservation at Go Store It in McKinney Tx that had been confirmed a week prior and when I showed up this morning w my loaded truck and movers that I had contracted for 3 hours no one was in the office and the door was locked. I received no help from customer services. I was left to frantically call storage places close by as the time was ticking away. The receptionist at Mckinney mini storage was so kind. She helped me immediately and was able to get the guys back to the unit right away while I stayed to fill the paper work. I did end up spending more on this smaller unit and I had to pay the movers for an extra half hour but the helpful nature of the receptionist made me feel better. Thank you for helping me when I was freaking out! I hope the duration of my rental contract goes as well as today did.”
“Well well pleasantly surprised after having a horrible experience at U Haul Plano on Los Rios, rd. This office/ site is a blessing. Friendly staff helpful within 30 min we were ready to leave. All paperwork done truck and dolly brought to front door. Excellent service I could not recommend them more. For all your towing and moving needs go visit the U haul branch on W Plano Parkway. They get a 10/10 from us.”
“I scheduled movers through u-hauls 3rd party system and they never showed up (JH moving solutions). Thank God Victor and Cole were willing to help me after they got off work. “I booked online and also added an appliance dolly. But when I picked up the truck, they said they don’t have any appliance dolly available. So they gave me another 8-mile away U-Haul address which that location has. Then I got one there. Another good thing about this location is, since I am the only one drove my car, and I also need to drive the U-haul truck away, they allowed me to park my car in their customers parking lot for long time even overnight. The 2nd day morning when I dropped off the truck, my car was still in the customers parking lot safely.”
“Fair price, clean truck that operated smoothly, friendly, helpful guy at the counter. Gas station attached, so you can put gas in the truck as you check it in, priced same as local gas stations, so no gouging. We were very pleased with our experience.”
“Jojo was absolutely amazing. I was moving out with a 20' truck and he made sure my truck was ready to go. He is knowledgeable and you can tell he cares about his customers experience. I moved out of the area but if im ever in that side, that's where I'm going! I have never had such a positive experience”

“Not sure why only 1 stars for these guys. This is my fourth or fifth rental in about as many years, and great service every time! Folks can read my review of the McKinney location for what a true bad experience is at a Budget Truck franchise. I recognized the one guy from my prior rentals, so felt good starting out. At this location, no hard sell on, nor blind siding rules, about insurance. One tire was flat on the rental this week. They gave me the keys to another - no hassle, and no added paperwork. However, the replacement truck had only about half a tank. They knew and took note of the miles. Because all my experience prior was good, I filled up the tank (vs trying to figure out the amount required to take it half way). I did so with confidence because these guys have been straight up and trustworthy in the past. They didn't disappoint in making sure I was made whole for that extra half tank.”
