“I work with adults with disabilities and we love volunteering here. One of my clients had this to say about his experience with NNH Red Bank Thrift Store. "Christian in every way. Loyal, kind, just, and noble, etc. in all manners of positiveness, in every way! They are a blessing sent from God, just at the correct time, month, date, year. I've learned a great work ethic and improved my sense of self-worth by volunteering here. It's fun to do something you love, not something you hate. p.s. thanks for the help, it's going to come in handy some day. Have a blessed rest of the fiscal year!"”

“I hadn't been in there in a while because of surgery. It felt great that the ladies remember me and asked about my health. Honestly I like this location better than Collegedale. Yes this location is smaller but the people are always smiling and greets people when they walk in.”

“Staff has been great for years. Their nonprofit mission is fulfilled by giving low cost, good quality clothes and household items to those in need. Sales benefit the Signal Mountain Welfare Society. Please donate good things you don’t need to them and patronize!”

“This thrift store is simply amazing. They have just about everything and their staff is always so super nice and genuinely helpful! One of my favorite 'true thrift stores,' in all of Chattanooga, Hamilton County, I dare say, as well!I had to edit my review today, due to a continuous love of thrift stores and the thrill of the 'treasure hunt.' Here's my update:Excellent selection of almost anything you want/need: even more so if it's obscure. They sell pre-owned goods, gently used but no longer needed, & seeking a new home: Like with you! :-) These are re-sale items in 'almost-new-condition,' due to the devoted Volunteers & their causes. They're eager to assist & very kind! They price items to sell, not sit dusty on shelves: A departure from other such stores in the area! THANK YOU!”

“Small thrift store with amazing staff. Just a head’s up - check the store hours before you go. Hours and days are limited. I know other reviewers mentioned only being able to use cash or checks. They recently started accepting Venmo. I have found something cool in there every time I visit- especially in the housewares and linens. The half price sales run regularly and are my fave time to shop!”

“I have shopped here for over 20 years, Ms. Shirley has been like a mother, therapist, and a best friend to me. She's seen me at my worst, my best, and everything in between. These people are like family to me, they always welcomed me with a smile and kind words. It really is the best thrift store in Chattanooga. They went up on their prices, but you are still getting a gooddeal. The quality is great, and they're very fair. I love this place! I would like to keep it a secret but the cats outta the bag, so enjoy. They do great things, Thank you NNH!”

“On my way to work one brisk December morning, I realized I left my work shirt (black polo) at home! Frantic, I called Providence at 8:20 am (store opens at 9am, same time I had my first client appointment) and in hopes of asking if I might be allowed to make a purchase before my first client…A kind man obliged and let me buy a shirt 15 minutes before opening! ABSOLUTE SAVIOR of the day! Eternally grateful to the kind gentlemen who assisted me… he even went as far as to pre-browse the shirts before I arrived and picked out a selection for me to look through!!20/10 customer service today!!!! Blessings!!!”

“So this Goodwill Outlet location is under new management. We are working very hard to address the issues and get the tables on a faster rotation. Things are already improving and they will just keep getting better as we grow. There is already a faster rotation of tables and we will continue to get faster as our staff grows. So come see us and the changes that we’ve made. And if you’re looking for furniture we’ve got ya covered!”
