“This place, for me, does one thing and does it well. I get full synthetic oil these days, and know that I can go 10k miles between changes. JL will put that on my window sticker. Others have been unwilling to due to a policy or some such. Same with tire pressure, etc. They will offer a coupon or rebate when one is available, and are actually fast. I occasionally use another place, depending on the vehicle or town in I'm, and they aren't always so speedy. Locally, Jiffy Lube is my go-to place. 180 degrees from the oil-brand-named place that I avoid due to a really bad customer experience there. No complaints, other than the location and the crazy place to leave the business and re-enter traffic. I wish this was closer to home and in the towns I frequent most often.”

“I took my van to Porters in Johnson City to have a fuel pump put in. Greg and scheduled it for a Friday, it was towed in on Thursday. The work didn't get done on Friday due to them being backed up. Wayne,Thomas,both mechanics,and Greg a sales rep, kept me up to date with the progress my vehicle. Finally got fuel pump installed and whoa and behold, they located an underlying problem. Which had caused the issue with the fuel pump.They were actually able to pinpoint for me a problem that the 2011 Dodge Caravans seem to have. The issue being the totally integrated power module, (TIPM) AKA the fuse box. Thanks to Wayne, Thomas, and the crew of Porter's they saved me some Mega Money getting my van fixed. Thanks for the great work guys! I will be returning my van to Porter's when I have more issues. YES, I would definitely recommend these guys. I would have given five stars to them but I never give anyone five stars. I always think there should be room for improvement in any and everything people do. As for Porter's they Excel. Extremely fair prices on labor also. Cheaper than another competitor, no names mentioned.”

“Had my car in to get a battery replaced and it was almost closing time. These gentlemen took care of it with no complaints so my daughter and I weren't stranded. They also made sure they got someone to deliver the correct battery after someone sold me (and I brought) the wrong one. They care about their customers and made sure to fix things the right way.
