“Put yourself in my place: gotta have a low mileage Honda HRV EX, manual transmission. Rare as hens teeth. But I found one, (barely) reachable with a day’s drive from home—almost 800 miles to JC from northern Michigan. Not to mention the trade-in aspect. So I had my plan, but executing it meant lots of pre-planning and long-distance communication. Thanks to Justin & Katie at Friendship, it all came together flawlessly. The HRV was every bit the like-new unicorn that Justin had described., and the trade-in was as easy as promised. “I went to the Morristown, tn Chevy dealership last Friday. Originally they were suppose to fix my Chevy volt but the battery was going to be about $9,000 to replace and they said without it being fixed my car would catch on fire. I'm a single mother who has to have a reliable car to get back and forth to work. They said they could do a trade with a palisade. I asked if there were any other cars on the lot with a lower monthly payment than the palisade and they said no. It was going on almost 8 at night and I asked if I could think about it and they said that it might not be here the next day. They made it seem like this was my only option and so I did the trade with them. The sales guy had me put the same address as my mother who was going to be my cosigner because he claimed it was the only way for the loan to get approved even though I don't live there. He said for me to change the address on my driver's license on Monday. The next day I wanted to take back the palisade and get my old car back because I couldn't afford the monthly payments, the car had more miles on it than it was worth and the tires didn't have much tread on them. They said they couldn't return my car and there were no other cars on the lot that I could exchange. I talked with Spencer that day. He called again on Thursday to ask why I didn't change my address and I said because I don't live there and I didn't want the loan to go through. He kept lying saying they got rid of my old car when in fact they didn't. Mike trimber called me afterwards and said if I didn't change my address then I would have to pay out of pocket or come back to sign new papers with my actual address. I asked again if I could just have my old car back and he denied my request. He said that there were other cars on the lot that I could exchange for even though Spencer told me that there were not. I called today to ask when they would allow me to take back the palisade as it now passed the 7 day period for the loan to be approved. He said that apparently they worked around the address problem and that the loan went through yesterday. I don't understand how that could be when the contract that I signed has a different address than my driver's license. There's just a lot of things that aren't adding up and I feel like not only did I scammed I was also bullied into keeping this car that I didn't want just so they could make a deal. I even talked to the loan place and they said that the addresses have to match up for the loan to go through.”

“Great job on fixing my oil leak in my 2016 Wrangler. My only gripe is that on my home the check engine light came on. The code was for intake air temperature sensor. I bought one from O'Reilly's and drove home to swap it out and discovered it had not been reconnected during reassembly.....”

“This place, for me, does one thing and does it well. I get full synthetic oil these days, and know that I can go 10k miles between changes. JL will put that on my window sticker. Others have been unwilling to due to a policy or some such. Same with tire pressure, etc. They will offer a coupon or rebate when one is available, and are actually fast. I occasionally use another place, depending on the vehicle or town in I'm, and they aren't always so speedy. Locally, Jiffy Lube is my go-to place. 180 degrees from the oil-brand-named place that I avoid due to a really bad customer experience there. No complaints, other than the location and the crazy place to leave the business and re-enter traffic. I wish this was closer to home and in the towns I frequent most often.”
“I will definitely recommend them to everybody. I had a flat tire that came off the rim. I called them and they had Martin come to fix it. He was there in 10-15 minutes. My spare wouldn’t hold air and Martin went the extra mile and fixed flat tire on site he was also very polite and professional.The best tire service I have ever experienced. “I took my van to Porters in Johnson City to have a fuel pump put in. Greg and scheduled it for a Friday, it was towed in on Thursday. The work didn't get done on Friday due to them being backed up. Wayne,Thomas,both mechanics,and Greg a sales rep, kept me up to date with the progress my vehicle. Finally got fuel pump installed and whoa and behold, they located an underlying problem. Which had caused the issue with the fuel pump.They were actually able to pinpoint for me a problem that the 2011 Dodge Caravans seem to have. The issue being the totally integrated power module, (TIPM) AKA the fuse box. Thanks to Wayne, Thomas, and the crew of Porter's they saved me some Mega Money getting my van fixed. Thanks for the great work guys! I will be returning my van to Porter's when I have more issues. YES, I would definitely recommend these guys. I would have given five stars to them but I never give anyone five stars. I always think there should be room for improvement in any and everything people do. As for Porter's they Excel. Extremely fair prices on labor also. Cheaper than another competitor, no names mentioned.”

“Went here today to get my brakes checked out. Told them I noticed a shaking in the steering wheel when braking. They had me in and out in less than 30 min diagnosing the issue as a worn tie rod end (much cheaper to fix than new brake discs). Employees were friendly, helpful, and good at what they do.”
