My husband and I needed a company that had decent insurance and would allow him to come home if I needed him. We like the extra bonus money for staying out 5 weeks and I’m usually good with him being gone like that. We’ve been doing this a long time together. This company is small and realizes that things come up at home that he needs to get back for too. I like that I can talk to them if I have any questions on his settlements as well. This company even provides a 401K for their drivers with a match! A family company is hard to come by these days, they’ve almost all gone out of business. They’ve done right by us and that’s all I can ask for.

I am a SAP driver and this company gave me a second chance. I didn’t have my endorsements an they recruiter was very clear that I needed to have em before coming on board but she was willing to work wit me. I made every effort to scrape up the money to get my tanker so I could get back to work. If you’re wanting do right, they do right by you. I called everyone and she was the only one willing to give me a chance to prove myself. I am very thankfull.

I used to be an Owner Operator before the economy took a dive. This company at least has specific freight that keeps me moving so I can pay my bills. I don’t have to pay for fuel or be responsible for repairs and I’m good with that. Their equipment isn’t new but I just need something that I can make some money with. These days it’s kids driving trucks wanting bells and whistles and new this and new that. I have my cooler and my radio and I’m gone. If you want money, they’re good, if you want to be treated like a baby, go somewhere else.

Great company to work for. Everyone in the office really nice and help as much as possible. They are all just a phone call away from the owner to the shop. Do a good job keeping you rolling.

I like knowing who I’m talkin to. I been to other big companies and my dispatcher changes like my tires. This team been the same forever and they all know me by name when I call. I like that.

I was one of those drivers that thought the grass was greener somewhere else. I left because someone promised me the moon. I came back because I knew I could trust the staff at STS. At the end of the week, I realized what was more important was their understanding, flexibility, and communication. Every week isn’t going to be perfect, but you can trust they gunna do they’re best for you.

They recruiter tells the truth. She don’t sugar coat and tell you what it ain’t. You gotta do things straight or she’ll call you, but dispatch is great and gets me home when I need. They the only ones that have a bonus for stayin out to.

This place treats you like family. They let me bring my dog which is real important to me. She’s all I got and they love it when I send pics of her. Everyone is real nice

Its true that they have late model (aka high milage trucks) but they never keep that from you when you are hired. I have read all the bad reviews and feel like as a current driver I needed to weigh in. Personally they have went out of their way to help me a few times. Big companies wouldn't have done what they did for me. I read one review where somebody's wife spoke about retreads. All companies use retreads. Never let your significant other leave a review of what they know nothing about. Late model trucks break down. Brokers lie... ALOT!! and sometimes uncontrollable circumstances keep you from having a good week. Thats the nature of truck driving. In all fairness I believe you will be treated better here than most places as long as you do your job.

This is a great place to work! If you enjoy great paid for all miles hometime flexibility and working for some of the nicest people you'll ever meet then you will enjoy working here too. This company always treated me like part of the family instead of a just a number or another butt in the seat. Management always went out their way to keep the drivers comfortable and happy like providing an accessible and comfortable drivers louge in all of their shops, rewarding drivers who do a good job driver of the month and a willingness to work with you if you have things going on at home. I was truly happy working here and i would still be here if i hadnt had health concerns that came up. Thank you speacialized for giving me a fullfilling and profitabke work experience, ill never forget it!☺

This job is right up your alley if you're looking for:-Only making 1500-2000 OTR miles a week.-Difficult dispatchers who make excuses for everything.-Constant miscommunication between brokers, customers, and dispatch.-Raggedy equipment that constantly breaks down, with circus clowns for mechanics.-Asinine dispatch scheduling. You either have too much time, or not enough time to make your appointments.-Sitting 6-8hrs at your appointments and NEVER GETTING PAID DETENTION TIME FOR IT!-Rarely getting home on time.-Never receiving your last paycheck when you get fed up and quit! It's a mystery on why they have such a high turnover rate with perks like these!
