“Very helpful nice employees. And a lot of cheap bargains, great butcher department. Great people. I Love All The Employees. My main store . If you want to save on groceries this is the place. They are still cheaper than anyone.”

“When I was on the Super High Protein Diet, I went to Archers Grocery in Norris to get the Best Tasting Ground Prime Rib meat. The Butcher there would ground the Prime Rib down for me for easier & faster cooking with way less fat in it. I believe he said it was about 95/5 Meat to fat ratio. I still go there to this day for the extremely low fat meats, but I do not get it ground up anymore. I also enjoy shopping in their Grocery as well. Ideal Country Store for sure. Their store is clean, plenty of parking including Handicap spaces, Wheelchair accessible as well, and The Staff are friendly & helpful.”

“Great grocery store! Friendly, helpful staff. Always see the manager out on the floor working, which says a lot about how it is managed. New Starbucks added recently too.”

“You shop here for the bargains! Produce not prize worthy but still nutritious. Meat cuts fairly priced. Can goods from "closed" retailers, for example. It's like the grocery equivalent of driveway rummage shopping.”

“I needed postage stamps and a few items and they have such a well stocked store and its easy to get through the line. All the clerks and staff are so nice and courteous.”

“They've got a friendly staff and good prices. Only con is they have 3m wypeall shop towel rolls in. that people get the managers to call them so they can come buy them to sell at the flea market. This practice needs to end 1st come 1st served.”

“Neat place. A Dollar General with a good, if small, selection of groceries. Then add in another small section of home decor and craft/office supplies. It is a very nice little store. I picked some chips, nice pens, and markers, along with a cute little storage bin. I will definitely by going back.”

“We bought some sirloin, 90/10 ground beef and hamburger patties. The first night we had sirloin, it was so good on our grill, hardly any fat and so tender! My girls 16 & 12 noticed that the spaghetti meat sauce was different, and ate more than they usually do. My husband was shocked how we did not even need to drain the fat, bec. there was none! We really like Gray Family Farm. Wish we weren't moving just so we could continue buying from them!”

“Cheapest produce around, even for the organic. Their brand is just as good as, and often better than, the national brands...and the prices are better. You need a quarter for a buggy, which you get back when you return your cart. I often "cheat" and use a key with a rounded head (mom hack of the day, for when you show up and realize your kids stole your Aldi quarter... and the rest of your change, too).”

“Awesome store. A better comparable selection to the nearby FoodCity. Unlike the before mentioned store this Ingles is never crowded. Most people got to FoodCity which results in an overcrowded and frustrating shopping experience. At this Ingles you can slow down and actually enjoy shopping. The staff and managers are always helpful and pleasant. The meat department is hands down better than both FoodCity and Walmart. This Ingles has been here my whole life and I'm 43. Give this location a shot. Bypass FoodCity and enjoy shopping again at the South Clinton Ingles.”

“Neat little place where you wouldnt expect it. Hot coffee and a small food menu. Usually clean bathrooms and if you time it right there is sometimes a pop up flea market in their side lot.”

“Delicious fresh salads, on the go sandwiches, fresh dips for any occasion I like the fresh deli meats but my favorite time saver is to pick up a rotisserie chicken and make fresh sides.”

“People are free helpful at English. When you're disabled, they go out of their way to help you. My baby blessed about it way then they how? I've a great-great 2024.”

“Not sure why others are complaining . If the owner is there she will absolutely drop everything and help, maybe the negative reviews came when she wasn't there, I've not a problem with food or service since the got rid of a few employees last year.”

4.2 Good24 Reviews

“Typically always has hot food and positive and efficient staff. I would however advise addressing one employee here in particular. Almost every morning Kallie is behind the register eating or in conversation while checking people out. Doesn't help that she not personable and I've never seen her smile”

“KUDOS and thanks to the ASM Michelle for her superb and quality customer service! She was super friendly, professional, and very knowledgeable of the store. I was looking for reusable shopping bag so I can use it as a carryon when I fly out of the Knoxville. She instantly pointed out and we had a beautiful transaction.”

“OMG. Best Dollar General around. Everyone is very nice, Especially Charlene. That girl needs a Vacation and Raise. Yeah they are short staffed but, they are killing it. This store always has what I need. You have a Forever Customer in my Family.”

“I like Walmart in Halls! I never thought I'd say that about any Walmart, but since moving to Knoxville in 2020, and having a Walmart, and not much else nearby, I've given it a chance. Now, I have to be clear, Walmart's shelves are messy, prices are sometimes not marked, cleanliness can be lacking in some aisles, employees don't care much about anything, let alone even acknowledge you, the produce department sucks big time, but I have come to accept that. Weird, because I'm not one to lower my standards, but, I admit, I have with Walmart. Maybe it's a Halls thing. Yep, I think it is! What I do like is that Walmart has a nice variety of food items, especially in the condiments aisle. I spend more than I should on things in that aisle. Walmart has good ciabatta rolls, Baskin Robbins Rocky Road and Chocolate Chip ice cream for $3 a pint, and they have a selection of small Cheesecake Factory cheesecakes for a fair price. If I'm in the mood, I stroll around the store to kind of "window shop," Hey, like I said, there's not much else around Halls, so Walmart is my thing. I also have to admit, they have so many self-checkout registers, rarely do I have to wait in line. I never thought I'd like self checkout, but cashiers around here are s-l-o-w, no matter what store you go to! Anyways, Walmart is my go-to store. I give Walmart in Halls four stars!”
