“Such a fantastic first experience at Sangaree Animal hospital! I had an urgent issue with one of my cats and hadn’t been connected to a new vet office since our recent move to a different area of town. I tried calling around to find a vet office that would be willing to see a new patient with a current issue within a couple of days. Sanagree was able to get us a appt with 2 hours of my call!! The receptionist was so kind and extremely efficient in getting us set up to come in.
The facility itself is really nice! Very clean and bright with convenient parking. The vet tech was an absolute doll (I can’t remember her name!) , I loved her and she was SO awesome with my cat…you could tell how much she loved animals and she just fawned all over my sweet boy :) She diagnosed him within a couple of minutes and then Dr Walton came in to exam and confirm the diagnosis and recommend treatment. Dr Walton totally had an eager new doctor vibe and he was really thorough in his approach to care. In my opinion, he was a bit overly eager to prescribe multiple medications, but was not AT ALL pushy, and totally allowed me to make the decisions that I felt was best for our situation, which is the most important thing to me. Bottom line, I couldn’t have hoped for a better experience and I absolutely plan to continue care there for both of my cats!”

“They have always been the best with my pets. They have seen both my pitbull Luna and my cat Mitts. Mitts especially has been a frequent patient. They took great care with him and recommended us out last year when he lost his vision and also recommended us to a great doctor when he needed his eye removed ( he only had the one at the time). Mitts had to take another trip this week because of a urinary issue and they got us in quick (within 3 days). They took great care of him and enjoyed the love he had to give while he wait for us to pick him up. We LOVE Sweetgrass and recommend them highly. Being a first time pet owner I will never take my animals anywhere else. From the receptionist to the vet techs, and doctors they show great care and patience. This truly is the best place around!”

I was absolutely blown away at the care and support they poured out to my wife’s family and Lucy. That experience was far from easy, but goodness did these staff absolutely shine. “I'm always so impressed with CAS. It's clean, designed beautifully and has so many different areas for you to interact with animals. The fundraising they do is always fun and for a good cause! I donate a lot of blankets, sheets and towels that are just sitting in the closets unused. They're always taking donations, have an Amazon wish list and they use Amazon Smile. They provide low cost procedures to help with spay, neutering and vaccines. They offer a reading to dogs program for kids which is $5 and allows kids to sit and was with a stuffy to the dog. What a great way to get the child reading and for dogs to interact with tiny humans. I def recommend supporting them in any way you can!”
“I never leave reviews. It’s not my thing. But today I have to leave a review. Our dog needed a C-Section. We called a dozen or more clinics. All the local places in Summerville like…well I’m not going to name them. The response was the same every where, Not on a Friday or we are too busy or all the doctors are out. They didn’t care at all. And the emergency clinic wanted over $7000 up front and they gave us little hope. But Dr. Greene and the Knightsville clinic staff came to our rescue. They saved our husky and the puppies. I will forever be grateful for their compassion. May God always bless them”
