“Third time repeat customer to this hotel and don’t know if I’ll be a 4th. Don’t know if I got a crummy room for booking with points or not. Generally I pay a premium over nearby hotels to stay here. Got a room with a crack in the clock, a visibly dirty AC, and a bathroom that needed a makeover instead of the hastily sprayed paint over part of the ceiling and I don’t even know what the attempt on the drain was about. This would have been unsafe if my family was with me.The linens appeared clean and the breakfast was fine, but the room I was in no longer meets my expectation of what a Wingate by Wyndham should be.”

“Nice hotel but they have bedbugs in the rooms and they allow pets.I was in this hotel for almost 2 weeks and they had to change my room 3 times because there were bed bugs and they bit me all over my body and even my face. When I was bitten I checked the bed and indeed I saw bed bugs. Several hotel guests have had the same problem with bed bugs. “The Ramada Limited Columbia exceeded my expectations. From the moment I walked in the door and was greeted by the extremely friendly person at the front desk my stay was just wonderful. The bed was really comfortable and had a clean duvet covering the fluffy comforter. The shower had absolutely fantastic water pressure which I haven’t come across in a while. The heating unit was quick and quiet. There’s a decent sized refrigerator/freezer and microwave in each room. For breakfast they had fresh apples and bananas and being able to make my own waffle in 2 minutes always makes me smile. I’m on a very long road trip and I’ve stayed in a lot of hotels, and it surprised me how much I liked this one. I highly recommend staying here if you’re in the area.”

“I've traveled all over the world and this is the nicest Motel 6 I've ever seen! We planned on staying one night, however we enjoyed it so much we stayed a week. The entire staff is outstanding, the service from the time of check in until we left was phenomenal. I would highly recommend staying here, you're missing out if you don't. One of the factors that led my party and me to stay here was the fact that the owner responded to and addressed reviews. It shows effort and dedication. The stay was great for a one-night pit stop. I did not eat the breakfast, but that's because I’m a picky eater. The rest of my party did eat the breakfast. They have a cool waffle maker, and the staff member working was generous to help us.”

“This is the best hotel I have ever stayed in! The place is beautiful and clean! The rooms are modern and well decorated. The room we stayed in had so many cool touches I was getting ideas for our own home! They have a ton of amenities the pool was nice and the pool area was clean and orderly and they have towels for you there.The work out room is right there and has a nice array of weights and equipment. I even noticed they had an office space with a computer and printer if you need it. The breakfast buffet is included and looked as beautiful as the pictures. my husband wasn’t feeling well so he was able to get gingerale and a yogurt parfait for breakfast. The breakfast and front desk staff was friendly and helpful. I also loved that they have a little pantry in the lobby if you want a bottle of wine or snack. In the morning the cleaning staff stopped by to ask if we needed anything which was very nice. They have thought of everything! I highly recommend this hotel and I hope we can come again soon! “Needing to have twice a year visits, this was my fifth visit to this location and the staff members have excelled in their professional growth and development since my last visit. Regardless of requests from the more than 400 of us there for a conference, the responses were pleasant, courteous, helpful and almost always immediate. the reception desk staff, the breakfast staff, the happy hour ladies, the wait staff for the meals and the set up staff were all amazing. Totally different from the first four visits. Thank you for a wonderful experience!!! Now, if we can just get the rooms updated, it will be my first choice of hotels in Columbia, SC.”

“Extended Stay America Suites had the nicest receptionists we've ever met. We specifically requested for a mattress topper as the beds that came with the room we booked weren't that comfortable for us. The bathrooms were also very clean and hygienic, and it came with free toiletries, which we are very happy about. Overall, this is a great place to stay for vacation or a short stay.”

“WOW, for a human being to do their job just to get a paycheck at the end of the week is one thing. At Comfort Suites at Harbison, Columbia SC Mrs. Andrena attends the front desk. She is that human that could see a customer in need by only the expression displayed on their face when entering. She noticed and attended to the emotional support needed. For her to care in such a way could only be explained as love for one another as people. Property showed no signs of extended stay or drugs. “I needed a cheap place to stay for one night and decided to take a chance. I checked in a bit after 2pm Sunday. The room was spotless. The floors were so clean I walked around barefooted. I was traveling alone so the owner put me behind his office so I felt safe. The door had 2 additional locks. I had a very peaceful night and would definitely stay there again.”

“Horrible location the family owned and operated have some of the worst service of the surrounding hotels. The rooms don’t look too bad, but they do got roaches.Rooms: They actually tried to make the rooms look better, but they fell short. They don’t change the sheets to pillowcases really the bed linen. They only give you one towel and one washcloth and one hand towel, even though it’s more than one person checking in.Safety: Safety will be my real concern because of the location that it’s said at. Yeah I’ll be scared at my kids with me if I was staying there.Food & drinks: It’s located off of Bush River so you got a cookout Wendy’s, Chick-fil-A and Burger King and multiple gas stations you could go to.”

“We booked 2 rooms to stay overnight. One w/pets on the 1st fl, the other one without pets on the 3rd floor. Both rooms were in good shapes, clean, nice bedsheets to touch, clean towels, toiletries. No bad smell or smth like that. There was no noise from the road.The front service desk clerks we met both were nice (evening/morning shifts). The Breakfast options were decent. The hotel itself looks nice and clean too, leaving good impression. We are planning to book again on our way back.Rooms: The rooms were clean. Had small refrigerator, TV, iron desk w/iron, toiletries, small machine to make coffee or tea. Towels and bedsheets are clean as well. Thank you”
