“A damn good shop! It’s so hard to find a good & honest mechanic & these folks have went above and beyond and I can’t thank them enough or be more appreciative! I don’t feel like I’m being taken advantage of, they are very transparent with repairs & costs if you really need it or if it can hold off. “I went in for an oil change, tire rotation and fluid check originally but was told that I needed a tune up. My vehicle was running a little rough and I needed to head out within a few hours for another appointment. Samuel Coleman was my advisor and got me all finished in time for me to make it to my next appointment even with delays for parts. He even took money off the bill for being patient and understanding. I moved here last year and used their shop once before and I will keep using them. Friendly staff, clean bathroom, and fast service! Highly recommend!”

“In my time away, Rock Hill Automotive got even better! They added two customer service managers who personally take responsibility for their customers on the phone and on premise.
I used Rock Hill Automotive for years before moving away in 2023. The techs were always clear about my vehicle's needs in the immediate, near, and later future. They showed me the filters and reports with photographs.
The owner and his wife are frequently there, and they speak to their customers. They let us know we are importance to them. They know us, and we know them. They are both personable and recognized as a top service provider for NAPA. They have even offered classes specifically for women for basic safety and to save themselves money. For example, one section is to check your oil. (Here's how.)
Since returning, I visited with a newer car. They were just as honest and helpful. The culture there includes employees being so concerned about my safety that when I left without buying a battery, the customer service manager asked me to get a battery soon, even if not from them. He didn't want me to be stranded.
I wholly recommend Rock Hill Automotive, especially to women, because auto repair and maintenance is their specialty, and they want to continue to provide exceptional service for years to come.”

He not only made sure my tire pressure was good on the low tire, he helped me reset my Audi computer to register the pressure values. Fredo definitely needs a raise!!!”
“My daughter had her car towed to Speedee Christmas Eve after a breakdown, they were getting ready to close but allowed her to leave car and would inspect first thing Tuesday after Christmas. We received a call before 9am with devastating news that the previous shop had botched her oil change and blew her motor. The manager Ian was kind enough to take photos and document so that we could call the previous shop. If we didn't have those photos and documentation she would have been out of luck. Needless to say her car is being repaired at no cost to her. Thank you Ian for the attention to detail and gracious service.2ndly they did my oil change and discovered I had a leak. At first look Ian thought I had major damage and before doing anything he gave me all my options instead of doing needless work. We went with the option of a deeper look where he discovered the issue was not as bad as we thought. He was thorough and even took the time to show and explain to me what was going on and what needed to be done. I'm sure it took his time away from others but he took care of fixing my oil leak, tuneup, and even going the extra step placing a dye in to make sure there were no other leaks. This was a great experience and I would recommend them anytime! Thanks to all the staff as well”

Always takes them 20 mins or less to do my oil change and is the cheapest in town (they also include other services for free). I went to pep boys once and they took 2 hours and charged me $115 for JUST an oil change.”

“They went above and beyond to help me! I was looking for a battery that said was in stock and didn’t see it. But one of the guys working in checked the back for me and found the battery. Then provided the service to change it for me on site. He walked me out to my vehicle because I was unsure of it to crank again to be ready to jump start me just incase. Then the gentleman checking the vehicle in checked to see if and ensure the battery I was getting was right. With my car it’s 2 different options for the battery size. To which they had the original option I was looking for luckily. They seriously where helpful and very happy and pleased with the service.Service: Battery”
