“Authentic Mexican food that is rare to find. Don't come here if you want the average Tex mex experience. This is the real deal, with plenty of authentic Mexicano options. The first time I ever went I thought I had more money in my pocket and then ordered. They gave me the food anyways even though I was short. “Our go to for seafood when cooking at our rental while in Hilton Head. I love the nostalgia of remembering when these stores were all over the south. Everyone always wants a t-shirt and they have a nice selection. My favorite is their reusable grocery bags - excellent quality and adorable! The cashier was so helpful and found a bag with sunflowers! Great service. We bought some wine to try!”

“Kroger on Hilton Head is a good place to shop. One tip - be prepared for low inventory on items in the produce section if you try to shop on a Sunday as this is when a lot of people are coming onto the Island stocking up for their stay. The store always have a nice selection of fresh lunch meat sliced and ready to go. The folks in the deli are efficient and work hard to get everyone served. The store is always clean, has plenty of registers open, and the staff is friendly and helpful.”

“We stopped to grab a few things while staying at the Hilton Head Island MotorCoach Resort a few blocks away. For those of you planning a trip here your map apps will be one of your best friends while on the island, local ordinances prevent any business from displaying large or tall sign so with all the beautiful landscaping a lot of the places that would normally be in plan sight as you drive around aren't so easily seen.This is a beautiful store that is fully stocked with just about anything you'll need during your visit here including nice Starbucks products to enjoy while you shop. I just ran inside for few items and it was great experience, the staff at checkout was very friendly and accommodating, so this was definitely a five star experience but I understand no business can be 100% perfect all the time but if they make every effort to resolve any issue that's really all one can ask for - with so many SKUs from so many vendors everything is not absolutely under their control prior to things arriving at their store so I tend to over look minor issues and focus on the total experience. I'm a happy camper having found this place, this is a very clean and well managed store and in today's crazy economy they offer reasonable prices and fortunately for those that can't manage some short comings from retailers there are other options but I'm sure they at times have their issues as well and mat struggle with the overly pretentious...”

“Well, I wouldn't know how to start. Ok. It's the island favorite store. My first place to go because I know I will find everything what I may need. It's a family store, you can go there and have a lunch or seat w friends at Starbucks and enjoy the pastries they have. Garden section, lovely. I will go on and on and on. Everybody, just go there and have a wonderful experience!!!!!!”

“Well, hit and miss today. Terrible entree + 2 selections today. Terrible salad bar and hot items selections today. Terrible cold sandwich selection today. Bread section is greatly diminished, but still very good. Key Lime Pies do not compete with PubliX pies. Great cold soup to go section: Heirloom bean and ham soup, New England clam chowders, and Curry chicken soup -- The soups made for a positive stop.”

It was such a breath of fresh air when we had Vern. extend us a fond farewell at the self-checkout area. What an exceptional associate and true southern hospitality. What a surprise.”
