“Update: The original post below was 5 years ago. I was in the store yesterday and it's even bigger and better than before. They've expanded to the building next door and it has filled up as well.
LOVE THIS PLACE!! Best little treasure shop ever. We love all the variety of the different vendors and ALWAYS something exciting here! Some vendors have a theme and others are a mix of old and new. If you love consignment or antiques shops, this one is a MUST!”
“My wife and I visited the store on March 23, 2024. Had a very nice assortment of men and women clothing. Reasonably priced, and the store was very clean.
The sales Lady Jill was incredibly knowledgeable on the products throughout the store and spent time with my Wife and I and attended all others and acknowledged all that entered the store. Jill is a great representative of the Cariloha brand. We really enjoyed her and the products.
I bought a gell king-size pillow, and Wife bought some shorts and would have purchased more if her size had been available.”
“Julie (JT) at the Myrtle Beach store has been great to work with!! She has been patient with us and is extremely knowledgeable about the furniture lines and accessories carried. This is our second purchase from the store, and while we thought we would have to spread the items out into several purchases, she helped us to be able to get all the items together into one grouping! Also laudable is the store’s designer, Christine, who came in on her day off during a holiday week to help us get it right and accessorize!”

We were balancing a comfortable couch for my long and lanky self to unwind, while being open enough for our kiddo and sturdy for our two pups. Mari here at Ethan Allen went above and beyond to assist us with finding the right couch. She was thorough and understanding. She was also receptive to our feedback including how divergent both my wife and my ideas were. And most importantly, she was patient that we needed this furniture makeover to occur in phases. I’d highly recommend coming to Ethan Allen for your next furniture needs, and I’d specifically ask for Mari. This company has been known for years for its exceptional quality, and I would add that its customer service matches that.”
“OMGEEEE! When I tell you that the staff there, (mainly Betty & Julia!) Were AWESOME! I'm in San Diego, and I was planning a scavenger hunt for my fiance's birthday. I ordered things from the website, but had a few hiccups. I called the store, got Betty on the line to tell her what was happening to me online, & what I was planning. She eased my mind & told me that as soon as the order came through, she would put it all together for me! ?
The day of his Birthday, the basket I ordered was waaay too small, I called again, and got Julia. In a panic, I didn't know what to do, but Julia suggested to just buy a bigger basket, once she sees the order, she will finish working on his gift basket!? I'm telling you, the customer service from these two was BAR NONE! I want to personally Thank these two wonderful ladies for helping me make my Love's Birthday special!? And he Thanks you guy's as well!

Offered to answer any questions if we had any, and then left us alone to browse, no pressure just help when we requested.At first, I was surprised as I had expected a Bric-a-Brac tourist store.Though as I walked around and looked at the extensive inventory I realized that the buyer for Surfside Shore Decor had a keen eye for good quality items with appropriate prices.The prices were fair and acceptable for the quality of the items. All of my questions were answered professionally and truthfully, never an attempted "upsell".Some of the sculptures were truly remarkable and to me, desirable.Each corner of the store held a new treasure, some that my wife and I could not resist.We left with 2 new decorative pieces and numerous ideas for adding additional accents to our home.We come to Surfside weekly, year round, Surfside Shore Decor will become a regular stop for us on our "gone fishing Wednesday's" (another story).I would strongly recommend stopping in, spend some time, and bring your children/grandchildren as this shop is child friendly.Thank you”
“We looked for several months to purchase complementary lighting fixtures for our foyer and dining areas. Finally found what we wanted at Grande Lighting. Had a very difficult install with one and called the store explaining our issue. Store face timed us to look at the problem. Was kind enough to come to our house and look at the fixture. Finally after being up on a ladder w my husband figured out there was a small nut missing that didn’t come with the light. She went to the store and returned helping to get the light fixed and operational. I believe her name was Vanessa. That is the kind of customer service matters and her help was so appreciated! Thank you.”
“We have just Moved here to Market Common (Myrtle Beach) and we were walking by the Southern Living Southern as SO Much of the Store Front Goods caught our Eye. We had our 2 Fur-Babies with Us however they were in Their Stroller so we All were able to Walk thru the Store and WOW ...They even had Treats for My Little Boys.
