“There is so much to see! Great selection, too. But both days I went, it was almost as if they stored the boxes of unopened items on the aisles on carts. Some aisles you couldn't pass. And it's a big store and I saw only one employee working the floor. The checkout lady was not the friendliest when I went back with my son. She was definitely annoyed, and it showed. Must have been a bad day. She refused to speak first, so when I did, I asked how she was, and her response was "blessed." Boy, you could have fooled me!! Anyway, the prices are very good on the items we looked at and my son bought some things for his new apartment. The linens and bedcovers had just great prices! Funny the things you remember. They have really nice plant pottery too! Go check it out!!”

“Our experience at the Fabric Emporium of Garden City SC was amazing! I found a wonderful accent chair in dire need of a makeover and brought it to the Fabric Emporium.You will find the fabric design of your dreams there with all rows and rows of different fabrics. We were assisted by a very sweet young lady Katie who listened to what we had in mind and led us to several fabrics we liked and she even suggested a fabric we never thought of and loved.They are very reasonably priced. The sales ladies are wonderful! Just can't say enough about the customer service. They even have a gentleman there that helped with getting our beautifully reupholstered chair in the car!”

Your process of having customers provide personal information to be entered into the tablet which then has to be entered into a desktop in ridiculous and very time consuming. It made the overall experience frustrating and lengthy in my opinion. I’m in hopes that our new recliner will be so wonderful that I can forget about the buying experience.”

“We looked for several months to purchase complementary lighting fixtures for our foyer and dining areas. Finally found what we wanted at Grande Lighting. Had a very difficult install with one and called the store explaining our issue. Store face timed us to look at the problem. Was kind enough to come to our house and look at the fixture. Finally after being up on a ladder w my husband figured out there was a small nut missing that didn’t come with the light. She went to the store and returned helping to get the light fixed and operational. I believe her name was Vanessa. That is the kind of customer service matters and her help was so appreciated! “We stopped by to grab some canvas umbrella bags. Super friendly people to deal with. I love their beach furniture and umbrellas. Great quality. I wanted to buy a new umbrella with different colors but we already have two from Lack's- one is 11 years old (still looks new after many beach trips) and the other is about 20 years old and still in great condition. I do look forward to our next purchase when the time comes.”

She was very knowledgeable and patient with us, unfortunately she couldn’t hang out with us, she had a prior engagement to attend for her daughter but left us in good hands with Kenny, who was also wonderful. “We have just Moved here to Market Common (Myrtle Beach) and we were walking by the Southern Living Southern as SO Much of the Store Front Goods caught our Eye. We had our 2 Fur-Babies with Us however they were in Their Stroller so we All were able to Walk thru the Store and WOW ...They even had Treats for My Little Boys. “After my wife, our children and grandchildren had shopped here multiple times, my wife then took me in for my first visit.The staff was very polite and greeted us as we walked in. Offered to answer any questions if we had any, and then left us alone to browse, no pressure just help when we requested.At first, I was surprised as I had expected a Bric-a-Brac tourist store.Though as I walked around and looked at the extensive inventory I realized that the buyer for Surfside Shore Decor had a keen eye for good quality items with appropriate prices.The prices were fair and acceptable for the quality of the items. All of my questions were answered professionally and truthfully, never an attempted "upsell".Some of the sculptures were truly remarkable and to me, desirable.Each corner of the store held a new treasure, some that my wife and I could not resist.We left with 2 new decorative pieces and numerous ideas for adding additional accents to our home.We come to Surfside weekly, year round, Surfside Shore Decor will become a regular stop for us on our "gone fishing Wednesday's" (another story).I would strongly recommend stopping in, spend some time, and bring your children/grandchildren as this shop is child friendly.Thank you”
