I was on the never ending search for a bedroom suite, already on a mission a year in the making when I went into the store Barry offered his service, but wasn't pushy (a welcomed relief). He was there to answer questions, but didn't hover and didn't try to over sell. He was paying attention and noticed I am a vet, so he told me about Haverty's military discount (not all stores have it and even of they do, they don't always let you know it's available). After my furniture was delivered I realized i needed a lower profile box spring and all I had to do was call the store to order, no hassles. Highly recommend, sales associates are top notch, furniture is great quality, delivery team is punctual and professional. It was a great experience.”

“I just picked up our second custom table; the second is actually a desk. Dede was fabulous to work with. She helped me decide wood, color and placement of drawer. We couldn't be more thrilled with the service and the quality and beauty of my new desk. Will add a picture in my office once I have everything situated. This is a picture at pick up.I love that they don't install a standard pull for the drawer but give me option to find one and install. My huaband is handy and can certainly drill the hole needed. Furniture and home decor: I was surprised to see the variety and ethnic representation of many parts of the world, diverse but amazingly beautiful styles, textures and colors! Authentic, beautiful and inexpensive rugs. Great variety for patio furniture. Loved the spring faux flowers, much better quality than Michaels.
Grocery isles: these took me by surprise. Great collection of English, Korean, Japanese, Italian and Irish foods. This is how I ended up finding the best ramen cup noodles l have ever had. In addition, a big collection of unique American foods, my favorite being the guaua jam from a Hawaiian company.
Chocolates and sweets: a great selection of chocolates and sweet treats across the world, a very nice place to shop at, when you crave for Cadbury chocolates or Korean gummies or German chocolate crackers or Thai coconut rolls.
Liquor: this place has outdone any other place I have visited for good quality authentic and exotic liquor. I say mango rum and Korean pear wine, with some serious sake variety!
Kitchenware: mostly American, but the only place to find unique but useful items like manual glass coffee maker,
In summary, highly recommend this place for surprise finds across the world that make great gifts and diversify your home and kitchen”

“As you stroll down King Street, make sure you stop in at Mitchell Hill. This store is filled with beautiful artwork and trendy furniture. Their eye for design is impeccable. Whether you are actively shopping or looking for ideas, Mitchel Hill is a must-place to check out.”
“Tiny Target is a regular go-to spot for me since I work downtown. While it is not a full Target store with a large selection, it fits the bill for a decent amount of quick grab items. If I need a few grocery items for home, kid's gifts, teacher gifts, wine, coffee creamer, etc. this is a fantastic place to grab what you need quickly. I also appreciate the holiday section they maintain. I also occasionally grab the pre-made salads or frozen entrees for a quick lunch when I am limited on time. It is mostly self check-out only, which is fine. And I'll agree with the others that the employees here are less than helpful, but the store is clean and well-stocked. People complaining about the bathrooms is interesting to me -- go to Charleston Place across the street. Although truly, it is not Target's responsibility to provide public restrooms. Other stores on King Street do not provide this either.”

“I stopped at the Charleston store yesterday and was met with thoughtful sales reps. Because I wanted to think about my purchase due to logistics and hauling home, as I've shopped many stores in the downtown and perimeter, I didn't purchase. Today I again stopped and found out there were two of this large glass piece I wanted. I walked away to think about it and returned again to a very thoughtful young man who took great care of me and even wrapped the two glass candles I purchased elsewhere so they too were protected. This gentleman was young, tall, blonde, handsome and kind beyond words and helped this older gal, ( me) without making me feel ridiculous for attempting to carry this to my hotel. He made every attempt to make it comfortable to manage and opened the door as I left. Now for the really nice part... I did not spend $1000s or even $100s, yet he made me feel like this sale was as important as though I had. My huge glass hurricane with gold handle was so well wrapped and protected and I can't wait to get it home to embellish. Thank you West Elm Charleston on King Street. I will be shopping more. I hope you read this young man.... fyi, you should have seen me shopping in Shanghai, China... glass things, art work and everything imagined...... I needed your packing skills and patience!”
