“Almost all of our favorite home furnishings have come from Acquisitions (Charleston and Atlanta). Our sofas and chairs, Our dining room chairs, our leather sofa in our keeping room, our sleigh bed, and several English pine chests, benches, tables. A number of these pieces are five, ten, twenty plus years old and still look fabulous and classic. The staff (many of whom we have known for years) are so gracious and helpful and knowledgable. Definitely our favorite stores - and they have wonderful pillows, entertaining pieces, linens, etc. We always look forward to a visit to either store!”

“Loved looking through the collection here. Very happy with the few things I found. I'd say the vintage/antique items far out weighed any of the modern items. That being said the modern stuff was nice and seemed like local artists and such. Prices were great in my opinion. I only spent $50 and walked out with 4 small items. I wish this was my first stop on our antiquing adventure but happy we found it eventually.”

“I love coming here every few months to see what's changed. The owners have a great eye for salvaged items, and I admire their mission to promote more reuse of materials. One of my favorite purchases from Architectural Antiques & Design was an antique fire insurance plaque made of plaster that was hanging in their back garden area. We have it hanging on our front porch for the added protection. Great place for treasure hunting :)”

“The owner of this business knows quite well brass and silver and how to properly take care of them and clean them. A great place to go if you particularly have an antique which needs to be treated with extreme care.”

“I love browsing here. It's a very large space, well laid out, with a huge range of things. High end antiques, LPs, paper ephemera, sewing notions, jewelry, toys, books, almost anything vintage you can think of. Leans more towards high end, but it really has a great mix of stuff. The employees are always nice, too.”

“This place is so cool! Lots of expensive things! I loved poking around and taking it all in. Found the cutest brass door knocker but it was a few hundred so I didn’t buy it.”
