“My wife bent the setting on her engagement ring and when I attempted to bend it back I snapped it clear off. I visited Bay Street Jewelers to repair the ring and now have a handful of reasons to recommend after just one visit. First, the staff there is very friendly and easy to talk with. Second, I was pleasantly surprised by the cost of the repair. Seeing as I’m the one who broke my wife’s ring anyone coulda probably guessed I would have paid an arm and a leg to get out of the dog house. I ended up paying less than 1% of the rings value to have it repaired! Lastly, the estimated turn around time was a week, Mark had the ring repaired, cleaned, and appraised in a matter of days. “The prime example of what it means to say "the best customer service". My wife and I lived in Beaufort, SC for about 2 years while stationed in the area. In that time, we ended up visiting Modern Jewelers on various occasions and ultimately decided to upgrade my wife's original ring to something...well, more. After some browsing, my love chose this beautiful option. Sadly, however, we experience a lot of stone issues with the ring over the months after we purchased. It seemed that despite my wife's love for her new ring, we would always experience some issue with it. Time and time again we would need to bring it back to Modern for a repair or replacement. After our most recent issue, we just couldn't deal with this on-going issue. My wife reached out to Chase, an associate with Modern, to express her sincere disappointment with the rings quality. Without skipping a beat, without trying to make even one excuse, Chase showcased just how committed he and the team were at correcting the issue. They quickly remedied the ring, and went even further by upgrading many of the stones within the original band. My wife and I eventually relocated out of the state and were forced to wait on the rings return via mail. Well, it is finally back and looks more stunning than ever before.
